At last we have a new PsPectrum version. This version comes with nice features, for example incresed speed, better sound, and a bunch of other things (some hidden, and some that you all will notice inmediately). I think it has been a long time but that it was worth the wait.
I have added a paypal account to let people contribute to the project and by the way make me get some money I spent to buy this new psp that I only use for coding pspectrum, (I know it is difficult to believe, but it is true).
Greetings to everybody and get fun!, HexDump.

You've seen Scenedicate. Now it's time for....
scenedicate #2!
There have been a few submissions already, but we'd really like to pack this thing with great content so that there will be lots to offer. Here are a few ideas for articles in scenedicate.
* Interviews with key Sceners
* Profiling specific projects
* Game reviews and strategies (commercial or freeware)
* Personal Stories (dc or not)
* Opinions on the scene
* Propaganda
* Anything Dreamcast or not!
If you have a cool story about dreamcast, saturn, your dog, or a political theses on pre-mature cat hibernation.... hey submit that too! We want to keep Scenedicate interesting so some variety would be great. Our last issue featured articles about the gp32 demoscene, scummvm for dc, an essay on capitalism, and well... you get the idea.
Please submit all your articles to max[a]dreamcast-scene[.]com
i've just succeeded in compiling Neo4All RC1, and changed the button configuration to work good with a NEOGEO PS2 PAD on DC......
So now you can plug a PS2 NEOGEO pad on DC and it should work (It works with my pad and my adaptor ...)
Nintendo’s next gen console will be known as Wii.
The console, previously known as the codename revolution, has been officially named ahead of further announcements at E3.
A statement from the Japanese games giants today explained: “While the code-name “Revolution” expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that separates video game players from everybody else.
"Wii will put people more in touch with their games … and each other. But you’re probably asking: What does the name mean? Wii sounds like “we,” which emphasizes this console is for everyone.
"Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii. Wii has a distinctive “ii” spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people gathering to play.
And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of video games that sets it apart from the crowd. So that’s Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because, it’s really not about you or me. It’s about Wii."
As of may 20th it will be free for JP users to log onto dreamcast PSO. This may have something to do with the release of PSU, or just a treat for those who have been loyal over the years. Just an interesting bit of news. Though mind u this doesnt affect NTSC USA players, the only way for them to play is on the private servers.
GN: How would you feel about making a console-exclusive title without any arcade release?
HM: It's not out of the question at some point, but for the time being, we don't intend to. If Under Defeat was a console original, and it weren't billed as "the last game for the Dreamcast", it's probably safe to say that in Japan, few people would've noticed it, and it would've quietly disappeared.
GN: Some were surprised to see Under Defeat released for the Sega Dreamcast. Are you happy with the game's sales performance on DC, and do you think it will be made available for other systems in the future?
HM: We weren't planning on it selling much to begin with, so it did surpass our expectations. In the future (at least a year down the road), I can't rule out a port to another console, but at the moment there are no plans to do so. Besides, if we had that kind of time we'd rather just make a new game.
GN: Do you think there's a possibility of future releases for the Dreamcast from G.rev?
HM: Again, it's not out of the question, but it's not our decision alone to make, so it would be very difficult.
Under Defeat was also billed as the "final" Dreamcast release. If we look like we bailed out, then came back just because it sold well, I think that would actually be an insult to Dreamcast players.
