    The little activity there is on this week's chart comes courtesy of Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, which moves up one place to No.6, making room for The Sims Medieval: Pirates and Nobles to debut at No.7.

    Future Publishing has announced Alienware as its headline sponsor for the GamesMaster Golden Joysticks Awards.
    The Dell-owned PC gaming brand has put its name to the Ultimate Game of the Year category, and is also giving away prizes at the event.
    "It's great to have Alienware on board,” says Golden Joystick associate publisher James Kick.
    “The Joysticks are the world's biggest consumer-voted games awards, so it makes absolute sense for a market-leading brand like Alienware to get involved. This year’s campaign is already set to be a vintage one, and the awards themselves will offer more than ever before – including, for the first time, unique IP reveals setting the agenda for the year ahead."
    Meanwhile, Future has also announced that MSN and Habbo have renewed their involvement with the event as media partners.
    The GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards takes place at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza on Friday, October 21st.

    The PlayStation Network hack that compromised 77 million user accounts earlier this year was a PR nightmare, but the whole affair doesn't appear to have harmed Sony as much as initially feared.
    The platform holder was concerned the data breach might put some consumers off returning to the service, but European PlayStation boss Jim Ryan says Sony has been taken aback by the level of consumer engagement with PSN over the past few months.

    "What has surprised us is the willingness of the consumers to re-engage when it came back up," he told MCV. "The level of activity on PlayStation Network since then has exceeded our expectations."

    Last week, Sony CEO Howard Stringer claimed "PSN is more secure and better than ever". He added: "We are aggressively expanding its content. We have more than three million new customers since the network came back online, and sales are exceeding what we had before the cyber attacks."

    Late last month Sony announced plans to unify online entertainment services PSN, Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited under a new brand titled Sony Entertainment Network.

    iMAME4all is a iOS universal app done by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria & TEAM for all jailbroken iOS devices (iPad HD, iPhone 4G , iPod touch and older) and it is based on GP2X, WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5 by Franxis.
    It emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.37b5 plus some additional games from newer MAME versions.
    This version emulates over 2000 different romsets.
    Please, try to understand that that with that amount of games, some will run better than others and some might not even run with iMAME4all. Please, don΄t email me asking for a specific game to run.
    Although the performance is very good with modern devices (all games I tested on iPad run practically perfect), owners of older devices should not expect a good performance; please turn off sound because that's very helpful.
    After installing, place your MAME-titled zipped roms in /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/iMAME4all/roms folder.
    Please use "clrmame.dat" file included in /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/iMAME4all to convert romsets from other MAME versions to the ones used by this version, using ClrMAME Pro utility, available in next webpage:
    http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/
    I am releasing everything for free, in keeping with the licensing MAME terms, which is free for non-commercial use only. This is strictly something I made because I wanted to play with it and have the skills to make it so. That said, if you are thinking on ways to support my development I suggest you to check my other free works for the community.

    Version 1.9: key delay on game selection - eases game selection, added option to set Sound defaults and to choose iCade or iControlPad layout,sleep processor between inputs on game select screen, fixed multiple key presses problem and sound initialisation fixes.

    The Lavalit guys have released a new of their Beatem Up for the Dreamcast, PSP, Wiz, Wii, GP2x and Dingoo:

    penBOR is a continuation of the Beats Of Rage 2D game engine, which was originally
    created by the wonderful folks over at http://www.senileteam.com.

    History
    ----------------------
    In 2004, Senile Team released Beats of Rage, a free beat-'em-up for DOS inspired
    by SEGA's Streets of Rage series and using sprites from SNK Playmore's King of
    Fighters series. The spread only by word of mouth, but it nonetheless
    amassed popularity very quickly. Senile Team soon released an edit pack allowing
    anyone interested to create a mod for the BOR engine.

    In 2005, Kirby2000 asked Senile Team to open the source code to BOR. They
    agreed, and OpenBOR was born. Development on the engine was continued by the
    community, and still is to this day.

    Available Platforms
    ----------------------
    OpenBOR has a very modular and portable design inherited from Beats of Rage. Ports
    to the following platforms are currently supported:

    * Windows
    * Linux
    * Mac OS X
    * Wii
    * PSP
    * Dreamcast
    * GP2X
    * GP2X Wiz
    * Dingoo a320

    In addition to the above, the original Beats of Rage engine (downloadable from
    the Senile Team website) is available for the following platforms:

    * DOS
    * Playstation 2
    * Xbox
    * GP32
    * Palmtop
