Super Nintendo Entertainment System emulator has been updated recently. Changes:
    - IMPORTANT NOTICE: The structure of savestates (also known as snapshots / freeze files) is incompatible with older versions! Snes9x 1.52 cannot read the savestates created by 1.51 or older. (zones)
    - Highly acculate SPC700 and S-DSP emulation. (Blargg)

    - Replaced S-RTC emulation code with bsnes' one to keep the good compatibility of .rtc files between the two emulators. As a result, Daikaijuu Monogatari 2 now outputs the .rtc file, and its .srm file is incompatible with older versions. (zones)
    - Added savestate supports for DSP-2, DSP-4, ST-010 and OBC1. (zones)
    - Added UPS support. (byuu)
    - Fixed DSP-4 AI problem. (Jonas Quinn)

    - Fixed the writing of word values at the memory boundary. (zones)
    - Fixed the bug that the unnecessary SA-1 emulation
continues once any SA-1 games are launched. (zones)
    - Removed old color blending codes. (zones)
    - Removed too-old Snes96 and ZSNES snapshot support. (zones)
    - Updated command-line options. (zones)
    - Code cleaning. (zones)
    - GTK+ : Added a port of Snes9x to the GTK+ toolkit. (BearOso)
    - Unix : Reconstructed and simplified all the contents. Some features have been removed to be simple, and many options have changed. GTK+ port is recommended for most of Linux users. (zones)
    - Win32: Now uses snes9x.conf to prevent problems with
    modified meaning of settings. (OV2)
    - Win32: Removed broken OpenGL mode. (OV2)

    News via http://dingoonity.org/

bkc_a320 has released HWINIT_2. This should help the users who were unable to get the Dingux installer to work. Simply download the package extract it and rename the file with your lcd type to hwinit.bin. Then replace the current hwinit.bin in the Dingux installer directory.

    Quote
some dingoo a320 don't work with dingux installer.

so I was worked to investigate it.
    and finally,I've got it!

    the result is here.
    http://www.mediafire.com/?umll0gyjyxo
    MD5 (hwinit_2_bin_100112.zip) = 36a9f60b0e59cbe3dd300aed7de01f3b

you can use the binary instead of hwinit.bin.
but the suffix number is according to LCD module.

if your a320 has ILI9331 LCD module(I guess almost all newer A320 has this module),
    you can use hwinit_2_9331.bin.

don't worry the white screen dingoo logo,it's correct!

As announced in this week’s issue of Famitsu, a PSP version of Knights in the Nightmare is in the works. New features include tutorial missions, a database of character chats in a talk collection, and an animated opening movie.

Knights in the Nightmare’s unique blend of tactical RPG maps and bullet hell dodging seemed built with a touch screen in mind. Not sure how that awesome-ness will convert to the PSP. Analog stick and holding a shoulder button to select units, perhaps? The scan circulating the Internet is pretty blurry. We’re not even sure of the release date, which Japanese message boards are reporting as April 22. Please, take that date with a grain of salt until we can confirm it.

Nintendo is already working on a new Pokemon game. It’s called Pokemon Ranger: Hikari no Kiseki (Pokemon Ranger: Path of Light) and sends adventurers to Oblivia.

According to Corocoro, players can choose to be a male or female character who is sent to Oblivia which has a Pichu playing a ukulele. Pokemon Nappers lead by the presumably nefarious Red Eye are this game’s enemy.

Rangers can use Pokeassists, a move that has Pokemon help capture other Pokemon, and ranger signs drawn on the touch screen to call other Pokemon. Pokemon Ranger: Path of Light also has a four player cooperative mode and has a special Deoxys which can be transferred to other Pokemon DS games.

Pokemon Ranger: Path of Light is scheduled for March 6 in Japan.

ProjectExciteBike is on its second iteration of an exercise bike controller for Xbox 360. The controller takes pedal input from the cranks of the exercise bike. The sensing is handled by a ring of five hall effect sensors that detect a passing magnet attached to the crank. The sensor data is collected and processed by an Arduino which connects to a wireless Xbox 360 controller for output.

This version of the gaming device includes a fine adjustment widget. It uses a row of LEDs to represent the speed of the pedals and has a slider to adjust how much of an effect this has on the game. This is what we envisioned for the trainer computer we saw yesterday. Take a look at some game play video after the break and dig through the code if you have an exercise bike waiting to be recommissioned.

Considering Assassin's Creed 2 managed to stab 1.6 million wallets in its opening week alone, 8.5 million units sold by March isn't that crazy of a forecast. Add star talent and some upcoming DLC to give the game a second wind, and that potential sales figure seems somewhat reasonable -- even for a titlle that doesn't feature machine guns, 'nades and nukes.

When we saw Stern Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia call that very number over on Industry Gamers, we kinda shrugged and thought, "Sure, it's possible." Bhatia says Assassin's Creed 2 was initially off to a slower-than-expected start (thanks Modern Warfare 2!), but for the December quarter, its sales expectations rose "from [roughly] 5.5 million units to 6.5 million units." Thus, Stern Agee raised its sales forecast from 7.5 million to 8.5 million units by the end of March. Hey, we told you the game was good!
