Apparently word is slowly trickling through Sony that its brand new handheld is actually called PSPgo (at least according to the second of two pieces of PR we've seen on the thing). We're guessing a similar word of mouth pace will operate in the inverse to communicate to top Sony brass that most folks think $250 for years-old gaming handheld hardware is a little steep these days. Of course, sequestered in our Engadget HQ and flush with cash from a hefty hit and run settlement a couple years back, we're more curious as to what you think about the price and feature set here. Don't be shy, just let it all out.
Is Sony's PSPgo just what you needed, or an overpriced rehash?

    News/release from Xteaph-N

Here is the 2nd version of my demo. I've rewritten the framework so now it can easily support many different magics, allies, and enemies. This demo has 2 spells, 1 enemy, and 2 players. The battle system is at this point pretty much complete. Just in case your wondering the controls are; circle is always confirm and X is always deny, in menus. I just have to finsh a few for things with the magic and it will be complete.

    News/release from warlock

Meh... fixed a few bugs here and there... its in the changelog...

If you dont know what it is...

Don't you hate when you are playing a game and about to beat the level and your psp power is low and you have to run to go get the charger? Well that is no more because with the Psp Power Saver you can now play for longer periods time.Just enable the prx and viola. This is just a beta release so you probably wont notice the power increase because its only about a 10% increase. In later revisions i will attempt to amp it up to about 50 or 100%. So enjoy... I am not responsible for your psp blowing up when you use this This project is closed source for now, i wont release the source until i abandon the project or until i cant do anything else with it...

    How it works:
This turns off the umd driver when you are not using it (iso/cso, Homebrew, internet, music ect.) In turn this will save you about 5% of power. Also turns off the drivers that load up the rss channel, location free player, gocam, and the internet radio. (You can still use these they just are off when you are not)

    Installation:

Put the PspPowerSaver.prx in your seplugins folder And add
    ms0:/seplugins/PspPowerSaver.prx to your game.txt

    Changelog:

    v.0.0.8
-Fixed a few bugs, having to do with the powersaver battling for ram against prxs like cxmb and nitepr causing random shutoffs
-Psppacked it now it runs smoother

Now that Sony's press conference is over and the PSP Go has officially been unveiled to the public (beyond last weekend's unfortunate leak), we here at IGN have one burning question: what will you do with all your old UMDs once you own a shiny Go?

We took a moment after the show to ask Sony representatives about this dire dilemma. Their answer: "we're definitely exploring opportunities."

This doesn't tell us much, but we can only hope that there will be an easy way to transfer UMDs onto the Go's internal memory without shelling out some big bucks.

In the Greedy Anteater challenge, players must keep a sharp look out and use the stylus to catch as many ants as possible for Dan the anteater, whilst also avoiding the stinging wasps.

Other categories include Letter Games, which enable children to practice the alphabet. In the A.B.C challenge players must drag letters to a grid in order to teach Bart the elephant his ABCs. Puzzle Games feature challenges such as a game of solitaire against Lee the panda, where the stylus is used to drag pegs around a board.

Junior Classic Games features a medal reward system upon the completion of challenges to keep children motivated and entertained. Disney Interactive Studios today announced Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure for Nintendo DS. The game will launch in North America the same day as the all-new Blu-ray and DVD release from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and connects with the Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow (www.PixieHollow.com) virtual world from Disney Online in new ways. Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure follows last year's successful debut of the Disney Fairies franchise on Nintendo DS.

"Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure allows fans to once again play as one of the most enduring characters in Disney history, in the beautiful world of Pixie Hollow," said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. "Fans can play through memorable scenes from the film, let their imaginations run wild when creating and customizing their very own Fairies and experience new levels of integration with the Pixie Hollow virtual world."

Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure expands on the forthcoming movie in which the Disney Fairies prepare for the Autumn Revelry, where Tinker Bell has been selected to create the prestigious Fall Scepter that can rejuvenate the Pixie Dust tree. When good friend Terence offers to help, Tinker Bell's stubbornness and temper get the best of her, causing her to shatter her creation - the scepter's fragile moonstone and her friendship with Terence. To make things right, Tinker Bell must now embark on a perilous quest to north of Never Land and find the Mirror of Incanta, which will grant her one wish.

In the game, players have a choice of roles. They can create and customize up to five of their very own Fairies, and help prepare for the Autumn Revelry by participating in a series of mini-games, quests and puzzles. Players can collect a variety of items, such as snowflakes, sunflower seeds and spider silk, to create clothing, accessories and items to decorate their home. Fans can also engage in exciting movie-based game play as Tinker Bell to find the lost treasure north of Never Land.

Similar to last year's release of Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell, the player experience expands beyond the DS game into the online world of Pixie Hollow. For the first time, players can upload an original customized Fairy avatar from the DS to the virtual world, where more than 16 million Fairies have been created to date. Once a Fairy has been uploaded from their DS game, players will gain access to an exclusive online quest, and when completed will unlock a special item both in the online world of Pixie Hollow and in the DS game.

Players can also transfer various gatherables collected in the DS game to PixieHollow.com, which can then be integrated into pre-existing online inventories. The link between the two platforms is further strengthened with the ability for fans to receive up-to-date news and polls from the online world on their DS. The synergy between the two platforms translates into a unique experience only Disney can provide to fans around the world.

Also included in Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is DGamer, the online community exclusive to Disney gamers on Nintendo DS, allowing players to connect with others and unlock additional items in their DS game.

Developed by Hyde, Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure will be available this fall for Nintendo DS. ...
