New special offer from Play Asia:

This installment in the hit Dokidoki Majo Shinpan series takes place weeks after the first game. Nishimura Akuji, a normal third year middle school student is summoned once again by the angels to start another witch hunt.

This time the hunt takes him to a far away town called Yon Town. To carry out his mission, he masqueraded as a student in a school said to have been set up by witches. However, since his academic scores are bad, he ended up in second year instead of third year. To add insult to his injured pride, he is paired up with a converted demon, Kuro.

Because of Kuro's clumsiness, Akuji's cover is blown. When his neighbor Seika Koron, another clumsy girl, finds out about his mission, she is determined to help him out. Witches, angels, demons and girls, Akuji's in for an interesting middle school life.

The game is split in an adventure part and a magic battle part. Search for items, gather information about suspected witches and chase after them. Launch into battle mode when the suspects refuse to cooperate, the rules in battle are simple, just deplete your opponent's HP bar and you win.

Once you have won your battles, search their bodies for the mark of the witches, clear the marks on the possessed and aim to capture their hearts as well. In this installment, you can search unpossessed girls' bodies as well as long as you have cleared certain requirements in the game.

As for mini games and unlockable stages, search for reversed colored pandas and the bunnies hidden around town, the more you catch, the more stages you can unlock.

Your ticket to a witch hunting trip is sold at a bargain product this week. Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! 2 DUO is set at a special price of US$ 19.90 only

We have absolutely no idea why GAF user Shiggy was searching for Nintendo-made pedometer trademarks. But his discovery of just such a trademark is a reminder of why this mixed-up, big, blue ball takes all kinds of people to keep it going round.

We're a little sketchy on exactly what a pedometer is (we know Ubisoft made one), but we're betting this is either a Wii Fit-related way to count steps taken ... or Nintendo's latest child-security feature: A meter that detects the number of pedophiles in the area. We're pretty sure it's the former, but hoping it's the latter, if only to help us find nearby Gary Glitter concerts.

Those hoping to Command and Conquer from a more personal perspective are sure to be disappointed with the demise of EA's upcoming first-person shooter, Tiberium. According to a report on Kotaku (we've verified with EA), development on the game was suspended due to its inability to meet "the high quality standards set by the team and by the EA Games Label" before its post-delay fiscal 2010 release.

According to EA's Mike Verdu, "The game had fundamental design challenges from the start. We fought to correct the issues, but we were not successful; the game just isn't coming together well enough to meet our own quality expectations as well as those of our consumers."

Though we're glad to be spared from any game that effortlessly slides beneath EA's recently raised Limbo pole, Tiberium's cancellation will reportedly result in several members of the development team being "released." The publisher claims that it "will make every effort" to move "talented people" to other, actually-coming-out projects.
