    Theme Park has posted an entry into the Neoflash Coding Contest:

    A port of an old PC app where a cat will run around the screen and follow your mouse.

    I proudly present my first real project: Neko DS.

    Neko DS (Neko being the Japanese word for cat) is a port of an old PC application back from the 80's. When run, you would have a cat on your screen who would chase your mouse cursor around, scratch on the screen, take a nap and various other stuff.

    Since this application has always been very close to my heart, I decided to try and port this to the DS.

    This is only a very simple beginning of what I intend to end of with, but fully functional none the less. In the future I want to have the sprites incorporated into the NDS via EFS, have the user being able to choose between different Nekos from EFS and FAT, and perhaps as a last update be able to have several Nekos running around on the screen.

    I hope you will enjoy this application as much as I have over the years.

    Here it is! My entry into the neoflash coding competition..

    This is a port of the totally original homebrew performer named : "abe's amazing adventure"

    More info available about it here : http://abe.sourceforge.net/

    I only started this project today as I totally forgot about when the neoflash deadline was, and thus have been forced to "speed port" it.

    I will be updating this to "perfect" status after the neoflash competition, there is just only so much I could cram in to this release, given that I have only had roughly 6 hours to work on this...

    Despite this, it is totaly playable and a really fun and quirky platformer. Abe's Amazing Adventure is a scrolling, platform-jumping, key-collecting, ancient pyramid exploring game.

    Controls :

    Menus
    --------
    X = Confirm
    Select = Back

    Game
    -------
    X = Jump
    Triangle = Use balloon (once collected)
    Dpad = Move

    Hope you all enjoy it! And don't forget to vote for me if you like it!

    Note : I apologise for this being a bit slow. My compiler went suicidal on me during the port and now I cannot even compile a hello world. Whether it was a virus or whatever is unknown. I have to install my toolchain again from scratch. Once I do this I will release a version with sound and music and proper speed

    A Armagetron clone. Basically Its a game with the idea of Snake, every player is represented as a "line" and he has to avoid to drive into other lines.

    Saving to a file:
    create a file called "DronS.cfg" [case sensetive!] somewhere at your card. Then you can use the Save/Load in the config menu.

    DCEmu Coder Lordus has posted an entry into the Neoflash Coding Comp:

    ApprenticeMinusDS is a Nintendo DS Gamegear and Sega MasterSystem emulator that uses hardware rendering.

    This version has scaling support for Gamegear mode and a region selection option, to enable playing of multi-region games in non-Japanese mode.
    The hardware renderer was completely rewritten to support the scaling, but there was not enough time to test it, and there are some known (and unknown bugs) that i introduced, that will be fixed as soon as possible. Mostly it should be fine though. See the readme for more info on known issues and how to get around them, if possible.

    Controls:

    PAD1:
    Button1 = (B)
    Button2 = (Y) or (A)
    L,R,D,U = directional keys
    START/PAUSE = (START)

    (X): Center screen
    (L): Move screen area left
    (R): Move screen area right
    (Note: screen area can just be moved, if the game has a horizontal resolution of 320 pixels)

    (SELECT): Enter File Browser (Also accessible by touchscreen)

    Touch the "CONFIG" icon to enter Settings ingame.
    (L)+(R): savestate menu (10 slots available / game)
    (L): rewind
    (R): Fast forward
    (X)+(R): cycle through screen modes (game on top or bottom screen, modes where just 1 screen is used)
    (X]+(L): cycle through GG scaling modes (none, correct aspect ration, fit screen)

    See readme.txt for more infos.

    Hope you enjoy it.
