Cornal Joe has posted an entry into the Neoflash Compo:

    A Multi-cart file browser

Version 0.9 is out! This is a complete rewrite due to an "uninstall" of original source (curse you uninst.exe). Alot of changes and improvements were made so take a look. I've tried to implement as many request features as possible. Thanks and hope you enjoy the update!

    CHANGES
    -------
    Version 0.9 - 08/20/2008
-Updated GUI: Can now load backgrounds and settings from FAT
-Removed DLDS files: Can now read DLDI from FAT
-Added support for AKRPG NAND: If you have an AKRPG just boot from the SD and you will have access to both
-Added option to boot into GBA mode
    -Changed/Added some controls
    -Added support for MP3 playback
    -Added file size display
    -Added multiple copy/delete support
    -Added display of copy speed
-Added display of current date and time
-The file list is now sorted alphabetically
-Renaming works now by copying file and deleting source
-Booting now works on the extra FAT systems
    -Fixed pause when lid closed
    -Fixed compatibility with M3/G6 Real
    -Various other bug fixes

DualSlot Browser lets you copy and boot files to and from the filesystems available. That means if you have two FAT based flashcarts inserted, you will have access to both! With this boot feature you can boot into GBA mode or boot NDS homebrew files. The boot function Auto-DLDI patches for whatever filesystem its on. So if you boot a homebrew on the Slot-2 it will have access to the Slot-2 FAT. Also with the new MP3 Player feature you can build your own playlist or have DSBrowser search the available FAT for MP3s. All MP3s found will be added to a new playlist. MP3s can be played while exploring the apps features!

Suggestions and comments are welcome. Thanks to all that helped!

Soulanger / Filipino Brewed Coffee has posted an entry into the Neoflash Compo:

BB DevWifi lets you send files on your pc to your ds via wifi and then automatically runs it. This would certainly help fellow developers.
You can also send normal files, then ignores about running it.
It saves the file to the /_soulanger/receivedFiles/ folder.
I have added motion so could toy the background for a bit.
Sorry for non-windows users the server was made only for windows.

There is also a defaultIP.txt that you can edit, that would make your sending easier and faster.

    How to use:
    1. Extract all files to your root.
    2. Run the server. (Balik Bayan Server.exe)
    3. Copy your ip adress below the start server. 192.168.x.xxx or similar.
    4. Goto your sdcard:_soulanger
    5. The open defaultIP.txt with your notepad.
    6. Erase 192.168.1.109 and change it with your ip address here.
    7. Now put your sd card in your cart then run Balik Bayan DevWifi.nds
    8. Dont do anything yet
    8. Go back to the server. (Balik Bayan Server.exe)
    9. Then press start server.
    10. If the window freezes it would now wait for your ds to enter.
    11. Go back to your ds make sure that the ip is correct then tap enter or press A.
    12. If you have done correctly the server would now stop freezing, and display, "Recieved...hi server!! "
12.1. Note "Connection successfull" does not confirm if it got in. I got an error the last minute so i wasnt able to fix it. The only confirmation is that the freezing is gone.
12.2. If you did not connect correctly you can always press B to return.

    13. You can now drop n drop files to the server, or browse then upload.
    14. If its an nds file it would automatically run. If not you can sent another file.

    Enjoy.

Here is a Windows Minesweeper clone featuring complete random minefields and includes the same difficulties as the one found on Windows, it also sports the same UI and colors and they work great on the PSP.

Features custom minefield size and mines as well as the original difficulty settings.

    Controls:

Analog Stick - Move your cursor around at high speeds, useful for getting across the screen in a hurry
D-Pad - Move your cursor slowly to move from one spot to an adjacent one easier then with the analog stick

    X - Click spot
[] - Place flag (signify a mine is there)
O - Move the grid down 1 spot (if you make a custom grid that is too big for the PSPs screen do this)
TRIANGLE - Move the grid up 1 spot (if you make a custom grid that is too big for the PSPs screen use this)
L trigger - Move the grid left 1 spot (same as above)

cory1492 ex of Consolevision (i think) has posted an entry into the Neoflash Compo:

Maintenance application to help keep your custom firmware PSP running smoothly. Works best with a pandora/despertar cementario setup, but has now been ported to run under most known custom firmware versions.

    Features:
    - backup and partially or fully restore NAND data
    - backup and restore per PSP idstore information
    - check for and repair logical flash partition problems
    - provides some basic info about the hardware
    - elf loader working under 1.50 based kernels such as pandora or despertar cementario
    - backup and restore methods have optional usbhost support, MS mounting over USB also optionally provided.
    - erase and format partitions provided optionally.

Note to judges and anyone else who downloads this application:
Take the warnings in the readme and the app seriously, if it says it's dangerous and you don't know what it does... DON'T do it! Make a backup - and by all means have pandora battery/memory stick at hand if you are trying out anything that writes (especially from the eboot version, as the stick/battery are not a requirement to run it.)

Now, I'm not entirely sure it's a wise idea to enter this - the amount of people who have come to me after trying stuff randomly without having a backup of their NAND isn't a lot - but it isn't 0 either. I have noticed not a small number of sites posting up NEO entries, again - siteops please use some discretion.

A lot of work has gone into this app's functionality, along the way I've personally helped not a small number of people; all the current options I have provided will do what I say and expect them to do and were often build out of necessity of the moment - but that doesn't make things safe if you don't understand what you are doing - thus I have added safe/dangerous indicators along the bottom of the screen and nothing dangerous will proceed without a "button trickery" confirmation... beyond that I'll leave it up to the mods/judges to decide.

Good luck to everyone who will be entered in the compo this season, I see some great work up already and I hope you all are having as much fun as I did trying to squeeze the most possible time out of the last hours before entry

+ Alarm can be set up to 23 hours 59 minutes in future.
+ Alarm Accurate to the Second.
+ Streamlined, extremely easy to use interface.
    + Shows Seconds & Milliseconds;
