It may still be a good week plus away, but many of the magazine reviews for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice For All are finally beginning to surface and, given our incredible love of all things involving Phoenix, we thought it appropriate to do something a bit different for a metareview on the game.

See, we're going to count up what the magazines have to say first and as the game gets closer to release and websites begin to chime in (we realize a lot have reviewed the Japanese import, but that doesn't count), we'll go ahead and do another metareview for those.

Game Informer - 80%: "What it lacks in advance graphics and interface, JFA more than makes up for in charm and intrigue." [Jan 2007, p.115]
GamePro - 80%: "Still, Justice For All demonstrates enough of the plucky spirit that made the first game so memorable." [Feb. 2007, p.82]
Nintendo Power - 90%: "The verdict is in: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All is another superb graphic-text adventure from the folks at Capcom." ...

    News from Guyfawkes

A test release version of a CPS-2 emulator originally made by NJ on the PSP has been ported to the GP2X. Here are some notes posted by Yodz on the GP32x forums:
This version don't support Q Sound emulation and run at 250MHz. It hasn't been optimised just quick port ^^ It work very well for a first version but the color are like passed through a red filter but all the game (1944, SFA, ddtod, avsp) i have tried work very well like fullspeed ^^
    mvsc.zip, xmvsf.zip, ssf2.zip, qndream.zip don't load.
sfa3.zip, vsav.zip partialy work but due to no Qsound support it don't work.

You have to create cache file in Windows before playing using romcnv_cps2.exe and put them in cache folder.

    SELECT: Insert coint
    START: Start ^^
    A, B, X and Y: Buttons

Gamecube Emulator for Windows WIP News update from Shizzy

Some progress since I started the new video plugin for Gekko, about a month ago. As of right now, it's dubbed a "wireframe plugin" - however it's just as capable of rendering faces (I just choose to debug in wireframe mode). No textures are implemented yet, and I have not concentrated to much on vertex colors, although some formats are indeed implemented.

It is very functional, however something is not right causing mostly all commercial games to crash. Havn't quite figured it out yet, but I know it's because of bugs in parsing the fifo.
