The Nintendo-specific Sonic the Hedgehog game has been rumored for awhile, picking up a bit more steam thanks to the union of the two companies to offer games through the Revolution's Virtual Console service. According to gex's nintendo news, an upcoming issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine will divulge some info on Sega's upcoming Revolution games. The article also promises a look at Activision's hushed-about project and Ubisoft's groundbreaking Revolution title. Another page seems to hint at a finalized date for the release of the Revolution of around the 27th of October. This would fall in line with Iwata's comments about launching before Thanksgiving.

Yannis Mallet, the recently-promoted Ubisoft Montreal Studio CEO, conducted a small Q & A session with Gamasutra. Most concerning the upcoming Nintendo Revolution was the allusion to Ubisoft working on more titles for the platform aside from the already-confirmed Red Steel. When asked about upcoming games for the Revolution, Yannis said "I can say definitely, as any other developer, we are looking at this magical platform, and we want to be part of the adventure. You know already that Red Steel is made public in Game Informer. That's an exclusive Ubisoft title, made in Ubisoft Paris. And I'm pretty sure we'll see other Revolution games from Ubisoft. And some of them, I'm sure, will be made from Montreal."

When you see an emulator being coded on from the ground up you realise that even the best coders can find it bloody hard work, remembering that N64 emulation on the PSP is a major task, yes its most likely that the PSP will run some games at a good playable speed eventually but you must realise that this is no overnight job, unlike a lot of the emulators and games on the PSP its not just a case of a quick port.

Anyway on PSmonkeys Site today he posted a fun Easter Egg Hunt where you search the forum for screenshots and yes all the screenshots were found but two that stuck out for me were of Doom64 and Quest64, heres the screens:

As you can see the progress is great, the future bodes well for N64 Emulation on the PSP but to all those who have only recently discovered Emulation and Homebrew, Have more PATIENCE its a case of it will be done when its done.

Remember to keep your eyes peeled to PSmonkeys Site on our Network here --> http://nemo.dcemu.co.uk for the full info. ...

I also have been able to spend a few hours on another port project I am working on with another dev but thats all a bit of a secret at the moment.

Awesome stuff, keep your eye on his site HERE and respond to this WIP news here --> http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/sho...411#post106411 ...

2K Sports is still finalizing a solution to alleviate the freeze issue on Major League Baseball 2k6 for Xbox 360 that some of our consumers are experiencing. We should have a downloadable patch available once it has fully tested to first party compliance standards.

In the meantime, our dedicated 2K Sports QA team has tested and confirmed two work-around methods for those consumers who are experiencing the freeze issue:

    1) Remove or disable the HDD

    or,

    2) Load three different Xbox 360 games to the main title screen of each game then load Major League Baseball 2K6 on Xbox 360. All three Xbox 360 games must be completely different before loading Major League Baseball 2K6.

While we realize that these measures may seem unconventional, our 2K Sports QA Team has tested both methods and both will remedy issues that are causing the Major League Baseball 2K6 freeze issue on the Xbox 360. Again, we truly apologize for any inconvenience to your playing experience.

Please stay tuned for more updates. Thank you for your attention.
