Give an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters and you will get the complete works of Shakespeare. But give the same number of simians the same number of computers and the result is the internet. Which explains why the web is such a forum for chimp-like chatter. [br][br]So when Nintendo started running a poll on their official site asking readers how much they would pay for a device that allowed them to play all their old N64 cartridges on Gamecube, it was bound to attract some attention. The options ranged from 'No thanks' to being willing to pay up to $59 for the device. We voted too but sadly no running totals or results were ever shown.[br][br]If you want to make your voice heard the poll is still running on the official Nintendo site but the question remains was this a subtle feeler put out by Ninty for a new piece of kit or the actions of a bored Bonobo who's grown tired of bananas? We don't know yet but, once we do, you will be the first people to know. ...

News from Lik Sang [br][br] Now shipping is one of the biggest selling games of all time on Lik-Sang, GameCube's Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3. All pre-orders are getting processed as we speak, please allow our super busy warehouse one or two days to kill the work, as there are literally thousands of reservations for this ultra-hot title. For those that haven't grabbed a copy already, more stock is available and new orders are being taken right now for US$ 64.90[br][br]Tomy once again gave out a pre-order bonus just for Japan. With the second game it was a headband, and this time it's the Naruto Armband, which we received enough of to slip into the parcels of the first 30% of lucky pre-ordering fans! The item is an exact replica of one of Uzumaki Naruto's most precious belongings. Awarded to him by his teacher Iruka, the armband marks its wearer as a full fledged Ninja. And now, thanks to Bandai, the lucky lot can mark themselves as a full fledged Naruto Fan with a armband of their very own. [br][br]As with all games, this is shipped free anywhere in the world. Also if you add other items like toys, accessories or anything into your order (we've linked to some at the bottom of this news), the weight of the game is deducted from the total, so you only pay shipping of the additional items. Qualified games are ALL titles for all major systems that are not already reduced or contain heavy items (ie. hardware). Just look for the little free shipping icon , and the full conditions are here.[br][br]Since it began two years ago, there's been over 100 anime episodes, not to mention the 250+ manga comics, many games across GameCube, PS2 and GBA, plus the Japanese hailing it as the next Dragonball. It's clear that if there's just one anime waiting to burst onto the world scene, it's Naruto. With a modern twist (and bright orange clothing at that!) on the classic ninja, the story follows Uzumaki Naruto as he attempts to become the number one in the Hidden Leaf village. The cell shaded game, being adapted from the anime, takes the form of a fast paced, freedom-for-all fighter similar to the legendary Power Stone (by Capcom on the Dreamcast). [br][br]One reason for the importing craze over Naruto titles is that despite the Japanese language barrier (there's still no sign of an English release for any Naruto game), the frantic four player fun is so easy to get into, it's no problem to just pick up a controller and jump in. Things just got that extra bit insane too, with a brand new '3 on 3 mode', similar to the tag team style loved in King of Fighters.[br][br]Along with the one player arcade modes, VS, Team Battle, Survival and more, there's also a story section, plus hidden extra modes. All 25 characters (yes, including Itachi!) have been confirmed, plus one of the four secret fighters, Anko (highlight to read - for spoiler reasons). Newbies include Jiraiya (aka. Pervert Sennin, as Naruto would call him) who can summon a Toad of any size, the 15 year old girl Temari (older sister to Kankuro), and Chouji, who can expand his body to 10 times it's original size! Now you probably have some idea of the chaos that consumes the screen when four such characters are fighting at once![br][br]The full roster includes Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Iruka, Zabuza, Haku, Rock Lee, Kiba, Hinata, Shikamaru, Ino, Gaara, Kankuro, Neji, Gai, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Shino, Chouji, Temari, Tenten, Sarutobi, and Itachi. [br][br]Along with the stand alone game, we have a Naruto 3 + Freeloader pack, which comes with the latest FreeLoader 1.06B, letting you play import titles on any GameCube machine, from anywhere in the world. Also while many of our Naruto figures have sold out, we still have great collections in stock, which make the perfect companion to the game, or great stocking stuffers. ...

News from LIk Sang [br][br]The Metroid series has always had a loyal fanbase and for some of us at Lik Sang who've been falling for Samus since she first lifted her helmet back in the days of the NES, it's great to see the releases continue with Metroid Prime 2: Echoes out today. Scoring a 9.5 on IGN, and a 9.1 on GameSpot, they say "If you finished Metroid Prime and were left wanting more, Echoes gives it to you in spades." We say, bring it on. The game is poised to hit our Hong Kong warehouse with tomorrow morning's deliveries from the USA, and preorders will be processed smoothly. Some buffer stock will be left available for new purchases. [br][br]This time the famous Screw Attack from those past Metroid games makes its triumphant debut on the GameCube, and you'll also be able to rely on Samus' Wall Jump now. Don't forget Multiplayer Metroid either, where for the first time in the history of the franchise, up to four players can battle each other as they search for weapons, grapple across ceilings and turn into Morph Balls to make their escape.[br][br]Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is finally out there, and as with all games, this is posted free anywhere in the world. Also if you add other items like toys, accessories or anything into your order, the weight of the game is deducted from the total, so you only pay shipping of the additional items. Qualified games are ALL titles for all major systems that are not already reduced or contain heavy items (ie. hardware). Just look for the little free shipping icon , and the full conditions are here.[br][br]Freeloader lets you play import games like this US title or any region, on any GameCube or Panasonic Q worldwide. PAL/NTSC/JAP, it makes no difference, just insert the disc, then swap it for your game, and play. ...
