I actually have a firmware5.05 ps4 so this is exciting news for me:

    • It has just got a whole lot more fun and easier to setup your v5.05 PlayStation 4 console to be fully exploitable with the latest goodies!
X-Project (XMB SELF HOST PROJECT) aims to be the AIO customizable tool box for all your payload needs. Something the community can dissect and adapt, improve and contribute to: for the good of everyone!

This project is a joint venture between myself and Leeful and is the evolution and culmination of my now discontinued 4.55 self host packs and leefuls current exploit hosts bundled into something for 5.05 which was far more dynamic than anything I had done before

      ADDED MEDIA PLAYER!:
      • Drop Down File Selector.
      • Plays MP4 only currently (need to work on more formats)
      • Play, Pause, Stop, Skip, Restart
      • 2 preset resolutions + full screen to suit your TV.
      • Dark mode toggle, Mute toggle.
      • Playback info (file location, name, time remaining/total time etc)
      • Companion BAT for easy alphabetized playlist generation (must run after new files are added to /MEDIA/ folder)
      • Just host your MP4 files from /MEDIA/ folder within xproject (easy to customize to share files from elsewhere depending on your host method)

      Other Changes:

      • Lodash finally fixed thanks to @Leeful
      • D-Pad navigation added as requested (L/R works perfectly U/D needs work)
      • GTA menus rewritten by @Leeful (now detect hen and load before payload (same goes for BO3/AFR payloads)
      • Slight restyle for uniformity thanks to @Leeful
      • ADDED NotAnotherMenu127
      • ADDED IH RTM EDITOR 1.0.0.0
      • ADDED Community Trainer 1.0.0.0
      • ADDED Arcade category (Coming soon in v1.4)

Looks Nintendo are putting a stop to piracy on the 3DS:

    • Recently, big 'N' rolled-out a new firmware for their Nintendo 3DS handheld, and buried within v11.8 were some changes to how 3DS and eShop works and how titles are fetched from their CDN servers and now the first major changes are being seen, with Nintendo wiping out pirates from accessing their 'first-party' games using various apps like freeShop, Villain3DS, TikDevil, and FunKeyCIA.
For those of you that missed out, in the recent 11.8.0-41 update for the Nintendo 3DS, several changes to how the NIM service handles downloading Nintendo 3DS software from the eShop were made. The main change involves sending an encrypted copy of the user's game ticket to their server for authentication. If the server finds the ticket is invalid, or no ticket is provided, the server could deny you access to the content files you are trying to retrieve.

This level of granular per-title validation will effectively put an end to any software that relies on the open availability of content files on the Nintendo CDN to function, including freeShop, CIAngel, TikDevil, and even PC based clients such as Villain3DS, PlaiCDN, and FunKeyCIA to name a few.

However, up until earlier today, the server wasn't denying anyone downloads at all. However, multiple reputable sources have stated that the changes have begun to roll out and that it is unlikely that any workarounds will be found.

At this time, it seems only first-party Nintendo titles are affected, but it's probable that these changes will begin rolling out to all 3DS titles on the Nintendo CDN over time.

Now we see how fast Nintendo also patch'es up the CDN for Nintendo Switch, which just recently started pirating NSP games!

PlayStation VR sales have apparently picked up the pace in the past year. Sony today announced that it has sold through more than 3 million units since the PlayStation 4 peripheral's debut in October of 2016.
After enjoying sales of 915,000 over its first few months, the PSVR installed base seemed to stall, ending its first year on sale with "one million-plus" players. The acceleration in sales since then was likely boosted in March of this year, when Sony cut the price of the PSVR to $299, making it the least expensive of the high-end VR headsets on the market.
Beyond celebrating the hardware milestone, Sony also announced that it has sold through 21.9 million PSVR games and experiences, with a total catalog of almost 340 games and experiences on sale worldwide. The 10 most-played PSVR games follow below.

    1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR
    2. PlayStation VR Worlds
    3. Rec Room
    4. Resident Evil 7 biohazard
    5. The Playroom VR
    6. Job Simulator
    7. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
    8. Batman: Arkham VR
    9. Farpoint
    10. Superhot VR

RSDuck has released a new version of the Gameboy Advance Emulator for the Nintendo Switch:

This is probably going to be the final version of VBA-next. But don't worry, we're working on bringing another offspring of VBA, VBA-M, with a lot of feature than retroarch's VBA-next to the Switch.

    Changelog:

Cheat support. They can be directly entered from the emulator, just enter the cheats menu from the pause menu.
Fullscreen UI in docked mode(though the implementation isn't optimal, also currently not tested)
Some minor improvements and adjustments, seriously

Rock88 has released a new Playstation Emulator for the Nintendo Switch

It's a quick port of PCSX-ReARMed, so currently it work with interpreter about half speed (maybe more), no sound, no menu.
    Port based on libnx.

    What works:

    Full screen image output
    Controls
    Memcard saves
FPS meter (but it bound with screen updates so with frameskip = 1 it may display not real emulation speed value xD)

    Installing:
Download & unpack zip, put pcsx_rearmed folder to SD://switch (path to nro should be SD://switch/pcsx_rearmed/pcsx_rearmed.nro)

    Configuration:
Place game images to pcsx_rearmed folder, then manually edit pcsx_rearmed.cfg file
    Code:

game = test.bin; // just replace 'test.bin' with image name here
    frameskip = 0; // 0 or 1

    Todo:

    Dynarec
    Sound
    GUI file selector, menu
    and much more xD

Kevoot has released a new version of the Nes Emulator for the Nintendo Switch:

    New Release: 1.4

This one fixes most crashing issues seen before. The issues seem to stem from a deadlock somewhere on the multithreading end of things. I don't really have time to track it down, so have reverted the threading and fixed up a few things.

Configurable controllers are now supported as well, so have fun!

    2. Nintendo Wii News

    New from Wiimpathy:

    Beebem Wii
    Introduction

Beebem Wii is a port of Beebem gp2x(0.6-1), a BBC micro emulator. It's a computer by Acorn Computers released in the 1980s.
    LOADING GAMES

If you load Beebem from the Homebrew channel as a standalone homebrew, the default softwares folder is /apps/beebem/discs. Copy your .ssd or .dsd games in this folder.

To load a program, open the main menu, chose 'Run new game', and select the file. It will try to start the file automatically. By default, some Wii controllers buttons are mapped to BBC keys. You may need to reconfigure the buttons per game. Go to 'Configure game buttons', change the keys and select 'Save game configuration'. The configuration file will be saved in /apps/beebem/kbd. A virtual keyboard is also available in-game.
    CONTROLS

    Wiimote:

    A : Confirm
    B : Back
    + : Open virtual keyboard
    Home : Open main menu

    Classic controller:

    A : Confirm
    B : Back
    + : Open virtual keyboard
    Home : Open main menu

    GameCube controller:

    A : Confirm
    B : Back
    R : Open virtual keyboard
    Start : Open main menu

    GAME OPTIONS

Here are the available settings in the 'Configure game options' :
    Audio

Audio latency : When enabled, the sound is better. It's particularly useful for music since it drops less samples, but it adds a delay and sound effects loses sync.

    Video

Top/Centered/Bottom/Scaled : It's scaled by default, it's the only option to show the whole screen by removing some lines. The BBC is 320256 and here we're at 320240.

Use 240p mode : Enable double strike mode for low resolution display.

Enable Bilinear filter : Toggle filter between sharp or smooth pixels.

Nudge CRT (useful for FireTrack/Castle Quest etc) : This shifts the display vertically.

    Floppy drives

    floppy 0/1 R/W : Enable floppies read/write access.

    PLUGIN

Beebem can be used as a plugin in WiiFlow or any compatible plugins loader. You'll find the necessary files in WiiFlow/plugins. By default, the plugin looks for the games in a /roms/BBC folder that you'll need to create. Edit bbc.ini file if you want a different path (romdir).
    NOTES

One extra button (Wiimote -/GC Z) can also be configured, but is not accessible in the menu. You have to edit the mapping files (.kbd) manually. Change this P1_MINUS value per game or globally in /apps/beebem/config/default.kbd.

Another option you can edit is DISABLE_CURSOR. Change value to YES to hide the cursor(not tested!).

All credits go to the original beebem authors. Dedicated to 'the Wii scene is dead' people. It's 2018 and there are still updates for Genesis Plus GX, Snes9x GX, USB loader GX, WiiFlow Lite etc. And there's a new homebrew game called Newo Asteroids too.

    2. Playstation Vita News

Heres news of a great Jailbreak for the Playstation Vita:

    • On 3.65 Systems you can install and enjoy the Enzo CFW framework and on systems with Firmware 3.67 & 3.68 you can now use the Henkaku Exploit.
h-encore, where h stands for hacks and homebrews, is the second public jailbreak for the PS Vita™ which supports the newest firmwares 3.65, 3.67 and 3.68. It allows you to make kernel- and user-modifications, change the clock speed, install plugins, run homebrews and much more.

      Requirements
      • Your device must be on firmware 3.65, 3.67 or 3.68. Any other is not supported. If you're on a lower firmware, please decide carefully to what firmware you want to update, then search for a trustable guide on /r/vitahacks (if you know how and want to contribute, you can edit this readme and make a pull request, such that fellow readers have got an easier life). Remember that on firmware 3.65 you have got the possibility to install enso, the permanent hack, whereas on 3.67 and 3.68 you don't.
      • If your device is a phat OLED model, you need a Memory Card in order to install. There's no need for a Memory Card on Slim/PS TV models, since they already provide an Internal Storage. Make sure you have got at least 270 MB of free space.
      • Your device must be linked to any PSN account (it doesn't need to be activated though).

      Installation
Note that the following guide is for advanced users and a bit more complicated than the previous hack that only required you to visit a website. If you don't understand the guide below or how to use these tools, you should neither file an issue here nor annoy me on twitter, but rather seek help on /r/vitahacks (check for duplicated questions first!) or wait for an easy installer by somebody else.

      1. Download h-encore and extract it on your computer.
      2. Download and install qcma, psvimgtools and pkg2zip (check the releases section for the binaries).
If you don't know where to put psvimgtools and pkg2zip binaries, just put them in the h-encore folder.
      3. Download the vulnerable DRM-free demo of bitter smile (yes, that's the user entry point).
      4. Extract the demo using this command in terminal/cmd:
        Code:
        pkg2zip -x PATH_OF_PKG
This will output the files to app/PCSG90096.
      5. Copy the contents of the output app/PCSG90096 to the folder h-encore/app/ux0_temp_game_PCSG90096_app_PCSG90096 (such that the files eboot.bin and VITA_PATH.TXT are within the same folder).
      6. Copy the license file app/PCSG90096/sce_sys/package/temp.bin to the folder
h-encore/license/ux0_temp_game_PCSG90096_license_app_PCSG90096 and rename the just pasted file temp.bin to 6488b73b912a753a492e2714e9b38bc7.rif. Be careful with the file extension, it should not be .rif.bin. Again, this file should be in the same folder as VITA_PATH.TXT.
      7. Start qcma and within the qcma settings set the option Use this version for updates to FW 0.00 (Always up-to-date) to spoof the System Software check.
      8. Launch Content Manager on your PS Vita and connect it to your computer, where you then need to select PC -> PS Vita System, and after that you select Applications. If you see an error message about System Software, you should simply reboot your device to solve it (if this doesn't solve, then put your device into airplane mode and reboot). This should create a folder at PS Vita/APP/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on your computer (see qcma settings where this folder is), where the folder xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx represents the AID (account ID that is 16 characters long) that you need to insert here. If the AID is valid, it will yield a key that you can now use to encrypt the demo.
      9. Change directory to the h-encore folder in terminal/cmd and use the key to encrypt all folders using (make sure you don't confuse the key with the AID, the key is 64 characters long!):
        Code:
        psvimg-create -n app -K YOUR_KEY app PCSG90096/app
        psvimg-create -n appmeta -K YOUR_KEY appmeta PCSG90096/appmeta
        psvimg-create -n license -K YOUR_KEY license PCSG90096/license
        psvimg-create -n savedata -K YOUR_KEY savedata PCSG90096/savedata
The folder h-encore/PCSG90096 should then contain sce_sys and all 4 folders from above, and within these folders you should find files called X.psvimg and X.psvmd, where X has the same name as the folder. Backup this folder, since if everything has been done correctly, you don't need to redo all the steps to install it onto another device with the same PSN account.
      10. Copy the folder h-encore/PCSG90096 to PS Vita/APP/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/PCSG90096 and refresh the database under qcma settings.
      11. The h-encore bubble with a size of around 243 MB should now appear in the Content Manager and that's what you finally need to transfer to your PS Vita. If the size does not match or you get the error C2-12858-4, then it's because you did not do it correctly! Please re-read the instructions more carefully then. If you get the error You can only copy applications that your account is the owner of, then it's because you have used an AID that is not of your account, go back to step 8.
      12. Launch h-encore to exploit your device (if a message about trophies appears, simply click yes). The screen should first flash white, then purple, and finally open a menu called h-encore bootstrap menu where you can download
