well, I found it strange to play the whole game without talking to anyone, so I've added trainers to each training station and got Daniel Chan to write up some dialog for them to guide you through the training to the final battle.

    Version 0.61:
    - added trainers who guide you through the whole Mage Master experience.
    - fixed underpowered spells from increasing your opponent's health. It now says
    attack was ineffective.
    - moved game save to START so that those O saving loops go away
    - use O to exit from battle preparation screens.
    - all new mage upgrades now happen at green or white training centres
    - rearranged the order of the training centres to have a more natural flow around the road, and switched the game save format. The order is now: white, yellow, red, blue, black (tournament) and green. Please consider restarting your game, I load, but don't gurantee the integrety of your old games.

Time for a little RPG battling fun with Battle Arena.

Welcome to Sushi Island. As an aspiring Mage Master, your mission is to collect and train a party of up to 6 low level mages and eventually win the Sushi Island Tournament. Thus rescuing your kingdom from your traitor of a brother.

You start with one of 29 Mage Apprentices and through battles of skill and strength, you can upgrade their experience points, gradually growing stronger and stronger mages until you are ready to enter the tournament for the top prize of the Sushi Cup.

Some people have reported that cheat mode becomes enabled by hitting TRIANGLE, so I've made a version which repairs your character if that happens to you.

Here is the new version, with the cheat repair available. If you hit the START button with a character with a cheat enabled during an attack, then that character will be repaired. Sorry for the inconvenience. The triangle cheat mode is only enabled if there is a file called "cheats" in the EBOOT directory, so that should prevent accidental enabling.

    battlearena052.zip (10 MB)

    Version 0.52:
    - made cheat repair for accidental cheat mode activation with the START button.
    - made the cheat mode only work if you specifically add a "cheats" file. ...

Well I've been wanting to do a public beta for Resonate for a while. So here it is. But the main level is challenging and overall it is looking pretty good. What I really need is some good user levels and to finish the options in the online menu.

    Hi,

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ColecoVision game system, here is my entry for the Minigame Competition 4k division.

You are the captain of the proud Maid of the Mist, taking tourists to view Niagra Falls. Sounds easy? Well, to keep from being fired you need to keep your ship in ship shape, by avoiding rocks and logs in your way. Hit one, and your ship will slow, and you will risk falling behind. Hit too many and you'll sink. Watch for the dreaded whirlpools which are sure to sink you.

Here is a vid of the game play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zCeAwKt5wU
    and the screenshot is attached.

Download and try it yourself. Game which includes source is attached.

Voting doesn't open until next week, but there are lots of fun games that you can download already from that minigame compo site. ...

    Hi,

I spent another long day making a preview video of one of my upcoming releases. It is almost done, and I just want to polish it a little more.

Here is the background of the game:
After a long double shift at work, to your suprise, your co-workers threw a party. They wanted to celebrate your raise at work, a reward for those long hours you work. But now, tired and quite drunk, you're objective is simple. Leave the building, to get to the subway, and go home to sleep it off. The only problem is that the elevators are broken, and this is a big office building.

Too drunk to find your way out alone, ask helpful people for directions. Staggering around, try to avoid frightening the people who might help you. Although strangely you get points for frightening them. Somehow if you get sober before you get home you will lose, from the depressing realization that you must be an alcholholic.

A top down 2D game, which features:
    - 6 playable levels
    - full level editor
    - 3 types of collectables
    - over 50 non-player characters to interact with (some help you, some insult you but give you points)
    - particle effects on picking up things
    - cool sound track

Here is the long overdue update to my PSP Flash-Card program. It is designed for students to memorize all of the "important" facts that we all need to know to pass tests.

For this version, there are two updates to improve usability.

    - First there is a new Definition mode, that allows you to see the definition and guess the terms that they define.
    - Second there is a new "batch mode" that shows the cards in groups of 5, so that the hard to remember terms are repeated more often when you get them wrong. This version uses a "replenishing" system, where there is a deck of waiting cards that fills the batch all the time. That way you'll see the trouble cards at least ones every batch size.

The two new functions are controlled with the L and R trigger buttons.

This version is still skinnable, so have fun and go wild.

    pspflashcard0_3.zip (845KiB) for eLoader/1.0 users
pspflashcard0_3kx.zip (845KiB) kxploited for PSP firmware 1.5 and friends

The screen shot is similar to 0.2. The screen shot and download via comments. ...
