Highly-anticipated sequel BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams is getting a multiplatform release, 2K Games has confirmed.

The FPS follow-up will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, a 2K statement said (what, no DS release?!)

The first trailer for Sea of Dreams, which is little more than a CGI willy-wave, was spotted at the end of the PS3 version of BioShock last week. We've finally got our hands on a lovely hi-res version now, which you can find below...

The first game was famously released exclusively on Xbox 360 and PC, and after a year of rumours and anxious speculation, it finally hits PS3 today. It's good news then that PS3 owners probably won't have to suffer a long wait next time around.

Someone give Rockstar a trophy ... for finally bringing PlayStation Trophies to the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. According to the latest GTA mailing list email, the update will be available for download on Monday, Oct. 27.

Rockstar has promised 51 Trophies in total, including: "One Man Army" (survive a six-star wanted level for five minutes); "Dare Devil" (execute all of the city's unique stunt jumps); "Chain Reaction" (blow up 10 cars in under 10 seconds); and "Liberty City Minute" (complete the game in less than 30 hours).

The official GTA IV site will be updated Monday to include the full list of Trophies ... which, given the ones announced today, will likely be identical to the list of Achievements available in the Xbox 360 version. ...

Nintendo has updated WiiWare with three new games today, which we're also calling my birthday.

The first of these is The Incredible Maze, which is a bit presumptuous. Costs 500 Wii Points (GBP 3.50 / EUR 5) and features mazes and balance board support. The latter involves steering a ball around the maze while dodging traps and not falling off the edge.

Next up is Home Sweet Home, the solitary offering in the "Interior Design" area of WiiWare. As if designed by Carol Smilie, the idea is to redesign rooms in a weird puzzle fashion. This costs 1000 Wii Points (GBP 7.50 / EUR 10).

That's quite pricey, but not as expensive as Tetris Party, which costs 1200 Wii Points (GBP 9 / EUR 12). That's Tetris, then, but broken into mini-games with balance board support and online multiplayer for six people.

Expect our thoughts on these in prompt fashion. ...

Peripheral perfectionist Logitech has unveiled a ridiculously lavish guitar for Guitar Hero World Tour.

This Premiere Edition peripheral features a wooden neck, rosewood fingerboard, metal frets, metal tuning pegs, a one-piece contoured shape and crimson body.

More importantly, for us at least, are quiet buttons - using some noise-reducing rubber keyboard technology - and a touch-sensitive neck slider.

This, one of the new features in Guitar Hero World Tour, allows you to slide a digit up and down the fret instead of fingering hairy passages - represented in-game by a funny line joining the notes together.

This Premiere Edition guitar is also wireless and comes with a gig bag to protect the instrument as well as store the USB receiver and game disc.

But what does this all cost? Well, USD 249.99. That's 160 English pounds, which is roughly how much an entire set of Guitar Hero World Tour instruments plus game will cost upon November release - and the RedOctane guitar seemed pretty good to us. And light.

You can catch our full review of Guitar Hero World Tour on Monday, whereas this silly old guitar is not out in the US until December.

Logitech, incidentally, was announced as a Guitar Hero peripheral maker back in August. We expect some rather fancy equipment. ...

While the G1 has an excellent keyboard, that's not stopping many users from complaining that they cannot type in landscape mode (notably, the decision to omit the virtual keyboard was to coax users to use the QWERTY hardware). Luckily, the Android development roadmap reveals that we'll be getting a touchscreen keyboard in Q1 2009 featuring "a dictionary of suggestions and a suggestion algorithm." In other words, it'll work a lot like the iPhone keyboard, which is a good thing. ...

To the common eye, DSi could look identical to the DS Lite. Nintendo clearly doesn't want that, so it's released a video that runs through each and every feature.

It's great - you get a nice lengthy look at all the new menus, the wacky camera functionality, some of the crazy sound-bending stuff it can do to music or your voice, the DSi shop, the new PictoChat and more.

It's so comprehensive you won't even mind that it's all in Japanese (soz). Anyway, take a look here. ...

The hotly anticipated Street Fighter IV will release on consoles and PC "this winter", the game's producer Yoshi Ono has confirmed.

However, this winter could still mean early 2009, and Ono was referring to the game's US release.

"There is no official North American arcade release, so we kind of feel bad that you guys have to wait for it," Ono told X-Play.

"We don't want to start rumours that it's this year, but definitely this winter. At some point you'll be sitting in you winter coat looking at snow out the window...and right then we'll kind of heat you up a little with some hot Street Fighter action so look forward to that."

Can't wait. Check out our Street Fighter IV game page here. ...

Developer doublesix is bringing a fresh new arcade title to the PlayStation Network, with Burn Zombie Burn! being bought to the PlayStation 3 towards the end of this January.

Looking like a welcome marriage of Smash TV with hordes of the undead, it's a high-score based game that's got it's tongue wedged firmly in its cheek. Taking a healthy dose of inspiration from schlocky American horror films, Burn Zombie Burn! takes a top-down view on six arenas chockfull of zombies, with players choosing between three characters to tackle the undead swarms.

There's an added element of risk and reward at the games heart – burning zombies with explosives earns a greater score multiplier, but a zombie on fire is faster and more dangerous. But that's just common sense.

Available for up to two players, Burn Zombie Burn! is coming early next year on PlayStation Network – to find out more head over to our Q&A with the game's creative director Jim Mummery, or check out the exclusive trailer. ...
