Hey Guys! Long time no speak, I think about four years now! I was thinking, how cool would it be to make what I made on the PSP a few years back, on the 3DS, but wait for it... in 3D!

This would be beyond my knowledge, and too early on in the 3DS life span to achieve it at the moment. However, hear me out before you start shouting 'noob' at me.

People have talked about the likely hood of a 3D internet browser, which to me, would be sites such as Youtube and Facebook. (in an ideal world) But imagine webcam streams in 3D, how cool would that be!

Anyway, 3D or not 3D, I will have to inspect the browser, and what it can be capable of in the future. My goal is to keep it going without the need to install exploit software on the DS, cause that seems to be a lot more illegal now than when I was last about back in 2007

Anyway, I would love to hear back from people, and if anyone wants to join me in throwing ideas in, then please do! Will look forward to hearing from you! ...

It's been a long time for both PSP Earth and myself to do anything with the PSP. As i have only just recently picked up another PSP as i sold mine due to need of money!

Anyway, i have myself a PSP now and i hope to start developing a new version of PSP Earth as soon as possible!

It will include a new GUI, more webcams, information and weather reports, so not a huge step forwards but in time this will be only a small amount of what you can do.

Stick around and hopefully experience the rebirth of this simple but yet unique app! ...

It's been a long time since the last release of PSP Earth was released! And what with it being Christmas soon, im thinking i could release a Christmas release of PSP earth, but to be quite frankly, what is the bloody point?

It will most probably be code name "PSP Earth 0.8"

I need some suggestions on what will make the portal much better and make it less boring, like other things, possibly not related to webcam streams?

As you can guess, me being one of the most disorganised people on this website, will need time to make this, maybe 3-4 days, and christmas is a week today, so feedback would be very helpful so i know what the public think!

If i dont get any feedback, then PSP Earth will most defintly be scrapped, as i was almost certain PSP Earth has died and had it's day, but if anyone has any ideas to save PSP Earth you will be my god!

    Thanks!

    Hey Guys!

I had this in mind for a while now ever since i saw the wii's internet capablities!

Unfourntly this release requires "THE OPERA INTERNET CHANNEL" which now costs 500 wii points - Rougly £3.50

OR if you have a homebrew browser you can use that!

    Read Me Content:

    Wii Earth - Version 0.1 Released 24/08/07

Copyrighted to Cybo Studios / Mat_Dizzy

    >>>>>>>>>>>>NOTICE<<<<<<<<<<<<<< - REQUIRES INTERNET CHANNEL (or any other browser for wii)

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TO OBTAIN THE OPERA INTERNET CHANNEL DOWNLOAD FROM WII STORE FOR 500 POINTS! (roughly £3.50)<<<<<<<<

Currently 3 Webcam Streams - Soon to get bigger

Source Copyrighted to Cybo Studios and MUST NOT BE USED WITHOUT PERSMISSION

Font and some graphics and "wii" are copyrighted to Nintendo

    --- Instructions: ---

    1) Unzip The folder "Wii Earth 0.1"
    2) Read the "readme" file
    3) Now the rest is up to you, you can either

    a) Put on a hosting server (if you havent got one use something like ripway (www.ripway.com)
    b) Run from an SD card (If Possible)

    4) Turn On Wii
    5) Go to internet channnel
    6) Type in the URL of where you saved the files too (example - "http://www.ripway.com/example/Wii Earth 0.1/index.html")

Please feel free to message me for questions!

    DC EMU PM - (username = mat_dizzy)
MSN MESSENGER - admin [at] cybostudios.com
    EMAIL - mat [.] cybo [.] games [@] fsmail [.] net

Please do not see the spoiler if you want to ruin whats coming soon!

    Spoiler!

This beta is very early and has only 3 webcams but like the other releases in time this will grow to something much better, and gives me alot more potentinal than the psp's browser as the wii browser has more support for java, flash and a much better refresh rate!

You might want to adjust the time settings on the html files for some webcams to get a better stream - depending on your internet connection speed of course!

The current default refresh rate is 4 seconds, this could be lowered!

For now the GUI is preety poor and has been built on PSP Earth 0.2, but in time will get its own GUI which will do itself justice!

    In the mean time!

PSP Earth - The Original Source For Webcam Streams

PSP Earth is yet again returning Very soon! For known reasons to probably many of you... But as probaly one immitator will cry at what i'm about to say! The next release's sourcecode will be locked! Due to one person simply breaking the trust rules of PSP Earth!

I will be now copyrighting the code, so i hope no one will use it as there may be legal issues inovolved within someone using the source!although not the webcam stream sources as i do not own holders rights for them!

0.5 will now unfortunately be a small update to SHR and then you guys will have to wait a while, as im going to be releasing the version after 0.5 as an EBOOT! Sod GCSE's.. Well no maybe not!

But as some of you hoped, 0.5 will not include all the promised things, allthough does fix ALOT of the known bugs in SHR!

Features of *Unknown Code Name* Eboot Release:

    1) Runs Straight From The Game Menu On The XMB
    2) No Need To Run Internet Browser
    3) Weather Forcast For The Area
    4) Some Video Streams (Not Picture Refreshing) Although some will still be based on that!
    5) Information About The Area
    6) Map On The Area (Maybe A Joint Project With GPS ? Who knows)
    7) Better GUI
    8) More Webcam Streams

Thats about it for now, Lets just say this is a war someones already won!

May The Best Webcam Application Win!

    Thanks Guys! ...
