    It seems a Chinese factory worker working at the factory, pulled a 3DS off the production line and posted some "sexy" pics and even a video of Nintendo's new 3DS.

    *UPDATE 1/4/2011*
    More pictures have been attached to the original post. According to some members over at Nintendo 3DS Forums, the "factory worker" isn't really a worker afterall. He claims to be a regular gamer. How he got it out is still a mystery. Is this Nintendo's publicity stunt to get more attentiona and hype?

    With the news from 27C3 Conference in Berlin, Germany, from fail0verflow stating that the PS3's security is an EPIC FAIL, Geohot released the PS3's metLdr Root Key. This root key allowed users to decrypt and sign files for the PS3.

    Gamers owning a 3.41 firmware PS3 for firmware and who have purchased new PS3 games that required 3.50 firmware such as Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed, were unable to play on their 3.41 firmware PS3's...until now. Last month, we reported about downgrading your PS3 caused some PS3's to lose Blu-Ray playback feature. This was mainly for original PHAT PS3's that has 256MB NAND. Project #PS3BluRay was working on a fix but a beta tester released the information to the public even though it was not stable and ready for public use. The leak was potentially dangerous and not user friendly when it came to operating.

    DRLtools v0.90 is the first official release, which simplifies things greatly and is the fix everyone has been waiting for.

    Download: http://ps3bluray.info/downloads/DRLtools_0.90.rar

    BACKGROUND
    Our quest to restore BD playback for those PS3s that lost it after downgrading continues. Unfortunately our project suffered a serious setback last week when one of our discoveries was prematurely leaked: A potentially harmful and incomplete method to restore BD playback was disclosed by an attention-seeking individual. It should be noted that the fix in question is only a "band-aid" solution to the problem. There is a very real possibility of future drive revocation resulting in PERMANENTLY broken playback! However, to make using it safer for those who wish to apply it, we have created this collection of DRL Tools. In the meantime we are continuing to work on a permanent and simple solution for all PS3s.

    The tools in the suite are:
    - DRLbackup v0.90 (PS3 pkg used to backup DRL1 / DRL2 files to a USB drive)
    - DRLgen v0.90 (Windows .net 2.0 application to derive DRL1 / DRL2 files from an MKB_RO.inf file)
    - DRLcopy v0.90 (PS3 pkg to restore previously backed-up DRL1 / DRL2 files or to copy derived DRL1 / DRL2 files from DRLgen)

    HOW IT WORKS
    Each Blu-Ray movie contains a Media Key Block (MKB) as part of its copy protection scheme. Newer movies feature higher MKBs; the latest one is MKB v20. Addtionally, each BD movie has a unique encrypted title key. Both are stored inside the AACS/MKB_RO.inf file of each disc. Fixing BD playback requires exact knowledge of which was the first instance of the highest MKB played so far. DRLgen can be used to identify the Blu-Ray movie with the highest MKB, and then create replacement DRL1/2 files for your PS3 which then restore BD playback.

    REQUIREMENTS
    1. A means to access Blu-Ray title discs to gather the AACS/MKB_RO.inf file, a Blu-Ray drive in a Mac / Windows PC makes the process easiest. Alternatively, SAK v1.0 can be installed as an OtherOS on the PS3 with firmware 3.15 or lower to accomplish this task.
    2. Explicit knowledge of EVERY blu-ray title the blu-ray drive has played and the MKB versions of those discs. WARNING: While you can safely check every BD's MKB with DRLgen, you should limit the number of attempts of installing DRLs on the PS3, as the full details of the AACS "traitor tracking system" are not well known.
    3. A FAT32 USB storage device to store and retrieve MKB_RO.inf and DRL files.

    DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
    Full instructions are available on the Project #PS3bluray wiki http://ps3bluray.info/?title=DRLtools

    ABOUT THE TOOLS
    DRLgen is a new and SAFER utility that uses the MKB_RO.inf from a Blu-Ray disc to derive correctly formatted DRL1 and DRL2 files easily every time. No difficult hex editing or byte-counting is involved. It is important to note that DRLgen uses the AACS' specification for the MKB format and does not simply assume DRL records start at a specific position and are of a specific length. The previously leaked information makes all these assumptions and is flat out INCORRECT in many situations today, and is NOT future proof and could lead to permanently broken playback.

    DRLbackup, previously released, has been updated to work in cooperation with the other two tools. As a best practice, a backup of the DRL1 / DRL2 files should be made prior to any system downgrade. Use in conjunction with DRLcopy for a completely recreatable process to downgrade your Large NAND PS3 and restore Blu-Ray playback in the future.
    Note: The location of saved files has changed, users of the older version of the tool should place their saved DRL files into a 'PS3bluray' folder in the root of the USB storage device for compatability with the new DRLcopy tool.

    DRLcopy is a new PS3 tool that uses the output of the new version of DRLbackup (or properly located DRL backups from the previous version) and/or the derived DRL files from DRLgen to restore your blu-ray functionality after a firmware downgrade.

    WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP:
    We are still in need of a MKB v13 DRL1. If the highest movie you have played on your (non downgraded) PS3 is MKB v13, please create a backup of your DRL1 with DRLbackup v0.90 and email it to [email protected]
    Thank you!

    Having posted the conference from 27C3 where the new team, fail0verflow, talked about the security on the PS3 and how it was an EPIC FAIL, Geohot, has posted the metLdr key:

    What does this mean? This means that you can now decrypt and sign ANYTHING ON THE PS3 system. This pretty much means the PS3 is as hacked as it can get. For the end user, this doesn't mean much as we can not do anything with it. This is more for developers.

    Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes
    Official Homepage
    Release Date: 12/11/2008
    Platform: Wii, Arcade (in Japan)
    Number of Players: 1-4
    Controllers: Wiimote + Nunchuk/Classic Controller, GameCube Controller
    Genre: Fighting
    Publisher: Capcom
    Developer: Capcom
    Region: Japan (NTSC-J)
    Site: Buy from Play-Asia (Game - $69.90) / Buy from Play-Asia (Stick - $79.90)

    Overview: A tag battle opens up a sea of opportunity for gamers. The Cross Generation of Heroes is one massive crossover of a fighting game. More than 16 heroes from Tatsunoko and Capcom fighters make their way into the roster in this Wii installment. The classic hero Ryu, the vampire Morigan, Casshern, and the genie Hakushon are just a few characters who have signed up.

    Choose two characters from the roster and form a tag team, switch them over to replenish their health when their HP runs low, have them assist each other in the battle and do counter attacks. Get to know the strengths and weaknesses of the characters and form a dream team.

    Gameplay: Before I go any further with the review, in order to play this game, you'll either need to have a Japanese Wii or a way to play import games whether it be a method of using Freeloader, Gecko OS, Homebrew Channel or other sources. This was reviewed on a US Wii (NTSC-U) with 3.2 firmware. Now on to the review.

    I have never been a person who got into fighting games. I was never into Tekken, King of Fighters, World Heroes, Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive. If I was, I would only play for a couple minutes or an hour and get tired. So it would take a GREAT game to keep me coming back to play it. Even with Street Fighter, I played often but never into it. The only fighting game I ever got into was SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 for the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Now that I type this, it seems to be I am more interested in Versus Capcom games..with the exception of Rival Schools for the original PlayStation. Coincidence? If so, Capcom must be doing something right!

    Capcom has released their newest Versus Capcom game and is known as Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generations of Heroes. The game consists of Tatsunoko characters pitted against Capcom characters such as from Street Fighter and even Mega Man.

    If you have played any of the Vs. Capcom games I have mentioned above, TvsC pretty much as the same concept and feel to it. You select two characters from the list. During the fight, you control one character while the second character is hidden and waiting. You can use the second character to assist you, help you team up for a few seconds (known as Tag Team) or tag out if your main character is about to die or is seriously injured. If you swapped characters, you now have a fresh and healthy new character to fight while the hidden character is healing. While its healing, it can help you team up.

    I know majority wont know how to read the menu since it is in Japanese so here is what the menu means and are pretty much self-explanatory:

    アーケード = Arcade Mode
    バーサス = Vs. Mode
    サバイバル = Survival
    タイムアタック = Time Attack
    トレーニング = Training
    プレイデータ = Play Data
    オプション = Option
    ショップ = Shop
    ギャラリー = Gallery
    オリジナルゲーム = Original (Mini) Games

    Controls: You can play TvsC with different controllers. You can use the Wiimote and Nunchuk, Wiimote and Classic Controller, Wiimote and Fighting Stick or GameCube controller. I've wondered how TvsC would work out with the Wiimote and Nunchuk combination and I must say, I am very impressed. Usually you have 6 buttons for Light/Medium/High attacks. Instead, you have 4 buttons that control your Light/Medium/High attacks. You use the Nunchuk Joystick to move around while using the A, B, C and Z buttons to throw punches, kicks and specials. 1 and 2 are taunts.

    The button layout is very simple. You can throw a fireball, upper cut and other moves on the first try. Although its simple, a button masher can easily end up with 15+ combo.

    Graphics: Like any Wii game, you wont find any realistic or high poly count type graphics. TvsC consists of 3D graphics and 2D mechanics with a hint of cell-shading. Nothing flashy but looks very very nice. Pulling off a special shows a 3D animation of your character about to wreak havoc on your opponent. If you're not familiar with Tatsunoko, you wont know who half the characters are. But each character are well detailed and vibrant in color.

    Sound: Each character has their own theme song, stage and theme. Songs are beautifully remixed, upbeat and fast-paced. However, I noticed that every a character is switched, the background music switches.

    Replay Value: Me personally, I can play this for months. Mind you, I'm the type that will play the same for 1-2 hours, put it down and never touch it again. There are only a certain few that I would play for hours and months. Its hard to keep me attached to the game. But with TvsC, I play this game everyday and have no ...
