Xamphear released JTAG Content Manager 1.3:
    What This App Does:
    * Browse 360 files on your PC by their real info, like game name and package title.
    * Upload files (XBLA, DLC, GOD, Avatar, Title Update) to your console over FTP with a single click. Files are automatically uploaded to the right folders.
    * Drag and drop files to other applications, if you'd prefer to use your own FTP client.
    * Organize a messy folder of downloaded content into 1 of 4 different directory styles. Restore the original filenames for XBLA and DLC files.
    * View the MediaID of Title Updates and GODs so you can match them, and search JQE and XBUC for matching TUs.
    * View the MediaID of ISO files. (Requires abgx360)

    Advanced/Beta Features:
    * Scan the Content folder on your 360's HDD to a database so that while browsing content on your PC you can see if it's already on your 360 or not, even if your 360 is off.
    * Browse the contents of your 360 directly, using Freestyle Dashboard's SMB
    share technology.

Please see the About box for credits and thanks. This app owes a lot to other more talented 360 hackers.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:
    * FTP Uploading now works with all 360 homebrew packages: FSD, xm360 and XeXMenu.
    * If you get any error messages opening the program, install .NET 4.0: http://goo.gl/KGxwK

    Change Log:
    1.0 - Initial Release.
    1.1 - Bug fixes.
1.2 - Library scanning changed from FTP to SMB. FSD mounted drive support added.
Delete option for files. Column and groups for content type. Filter by type in the filter box. Filter box no longer requires a refresh. Content indexing optimized, should be much faster. Content organizer to sort local content into proper folders with optional folders for game name and content type. Checkboxes added to list for easier selection of files. Shell integration: Add access to the app when right-clicking any folder in Windows Explorer. "All Files" progress bar added to upload form. Right click menu added to folders. Correct size shown for GODs. Bug fixes.
1.3 - XeXMenu now supported for FTP uploads. FTP upload progress now shows real time KBps speed of transfer. Visual queues for uploads and other multiple file operations. FSD SMB functions hidden behind a "Beta Features" mode to prevent confusion and to clearly mark them as potentially unstable while the FSD SMB implementation matures. New DLL files so that MSVCR is no longer required. Windows 7 taskbar progress during uploads. Warning and error messages made much more informative and friendly. Minimize upload window during long operations, with a taskbar notification when the upload finishes. Tool-tip help icons in the settings. Content organizer saves output folder between uses. Export a report of content files to a CSV. Total queue progress bar more accurate. Bug fixes.

Tuxuser released a new version of his homebrew application that will allow you to easily update just the XeLL part of your freeBOOT NAND. It'd been updated following fbBuild v0.3's release yesterday, and adds support for the 13146 kernel:
XeLL Updater for freeBOOT - v1.1
    for Kernel 9199, 12611, 12625 and 13146
Based on dashlaunch installer by cOz

This little tool is needed to update XeLL in Flash/NAND properly. The freeBOOT/fbBuild Rebooter has a different layout compared to XBR or pure-XeLL images so the XeLL binary isn't at the beginning of a NAND Block anymore.

Using the old updslot0/updslot1-Method (which worked on XBR and XeLL Images just fine) you would render your freeBOOT console non-booting (until you reflash it externally of course).

This application however works for freeBOOT/fbBuild It reads the specific part of the NAND, injects the XeLL binary and writes the blocks back.

    Use it on Single-NAND freeBOOT only (9199, 12611, 12625 and 13146).

Greetz to cOz (and his strong nerves ;D), Cancerous, Redline99, GliGli, Ced2911, Razkar, Nathan and the whole team

There is already a new version firmware in the wild wild, and naturally we are already in the process of testing, decapping and making sure it works with the new DG-16D4S Unlocked PCB.

I will say though that key extraction successful and key sector decryption is reversed and confirmed already – Team Jungle does it again

Also the 0225 firmware is finished and the 0401 firmware is in the last stages of development. Not long now.

    More news soon

The 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has had to settle for second place in the UK all formats chart, as keep fit title Zumba Fitness returns to the number one spot once again.

Zumba Fitness saw a 43 per cent surge in sales over the course of the week, with a 51 per cent increase in Wii sales. Nintendo's home console accounted for 89 per cent of sales of the title this week.

Sales are reported to be "not that far away from the top-selling title so far (Pilotwings Resort)".

Following an almost universal critical panning Duke Nukem Forever saw sales drop by 58 per cent in its second week on the charts, although it only fell as far as number three.

Crysis studio Crytek has denied reports that it's already developing for the Xbox 360's successor.

Earlier this week, a "high-ranking" insider claimed the developer was working on Timesplitters 4 for the new machine, which Microsoft would probably unveil at E3 2012.

However, today Crytek handed a statement to IGN denying any knowledge of a new system from Microsoft.

"Relating to the recent rumours, Crytek do not have any next generation hardware from Microsoft, nor do we know when Microsoft may announce future hardware or what that hardware will entail," it read.

The studio also took the opportunity to reassure gamers that the promised DirectX 11 update for the PC version of Crysis 2 is imminent.

"Crytek are working at pushing the boundaries of what current technology can bring, including our focus on DX11 which will be released shortly as an update for Crysis 2, and we believe this work, added to our estimations of what the new hardware will provide, set up CryENGINE as a next generation engine for all consoles."

Last month, a rumour did the rounds that EA is already working with next-gen Xbox dev kits, while earlier this week Avalanche Studios announced it was about to start developing a new IP for the next round of consoles.

Microsoft has moved to clarify that the security of Xbox Live has not been compromised, after hacking group LulzSec published what appear to be personal details and password data from users.

According to CBC, 'Lulz Security' claims that it has released log-in information for 62,000 private internet accounts Thursday, including Facebook, PayPal, dating sites, Xbox Live and Twitter.

Despite initial panic over the gaming-related section of the information echoing Anonymous' attack on PlayStation Network - after which Sony took its online service down for almost four weeks - Microsoft has dismissed the worries. It said in a subsequent statement:

"This group appears to have posted a list of thousands of potential email addresses and passwords, and encouraged users to try them across various online sites like Xbox Live in the event one of the users happens to use the same password and email address combination. At this time we do not have any evidence Xbox Live has been compromised. However we take the security of our service seriously and work on an ongoing basis to improve it against evolving threats."

The list is reportedly made up of data from mostly US accounts but includes hundreds of Canadians, as well as citizens from the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil.

CBC says that some of the names include journalists and government employees, including provincial public servants in Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island and at least one municipal worker in Whitehorse.

LulzSec said on its Twitter account that it uploaded the file containing all the information to a file-sharing site Thursday morning. The site took it down, but it was uploaded again on Thursday evening, before being taken down once more. LulzSec reported thousands of downloads before it was removed.

Bragging phrases on the hacking group's Twitter include the line: "Envelope yourself in the sickening realization that you secretly love f--king someone's Facebook life beyond repair."
