Hot on the heels of MCV revealing the estimated UK prices, several retailers have gone live with their own Wii U price tags.
Both retailers is currently taking pre-orders for all three SKUs: the Basic, the Premium and the special ZombiU pack.
Tesco is asking for £249 for Basic, £329 for the ZombiU bundle and£299 for the Premium model.
This is inline with estimates based on trade prices revealed by high-end retail sources, which we reported on earlier.
Amazon was offering lower prices, but has since bumped them up to £250 for the Basic SKU and £285 for the Premium. Interestingly, it doesn't seem to offering the ZombiU bundle at the time of writing.
Similarly, ShopTo has opted for a Basic price of £247.85, a Premium price of £279.85.
GAME has gone slightly higher at £259.99 (Basic), £309.99 (Premium) and £349.99 (ZombiU). The specialist is asking for a £20 deposit for each.
But it's SimplyGames that currently has the lowest prices, offering the Premium pack for a low £249.99 andthe Basic pack for £209.99.

Earlier we told you that the WiiU is to be released on 8th of December in Japan. Well now we know more, the USA is to get the WiiU on November 18th making it the first region to get their hands on the new Nintendo console. Europe is to get the WiiU on November 30th.
In the US, the Basic set will retail for $300 (£186), while the Premium set will cost $350 (£217).
As with the Japanese launch, there will be two SKUs of Wii U available on day one. Both SKUs will be the same as the japanese but, European consumers that pick up the Premium pack will also get a copy of NintendoLand and a Wii Sensor Bar. Game classification report details acceptable themes and depictions for developers
Interactivity in games can have a harmful and detrimental effect on children, according to newly released game rating guidelines in Australia.
The new report, published by the Classification board, has been designed to help finally bring 18+ rated titles to the country’s games industry.
Whilst the new guidelines recognised R18+ games, the report suggested that games should not be treated the same as films due to their interactive nature.
“Due to the interactive nature of computer games and the active repetitive involvement of the participant, as a general rule computer games may have a higher impact than similarly themed depictions of the classifiable elements in film, and therefore greater potential for harm or detriment, particularly to minors,” read the report.
The guidelines noted that games will be refused classification if they contain illicit or proscribed drug use related to incentives or rewards and interactive drug use which is “detailed and realistic”.

Nintendo's next-gen console to launch in Europe one week before Japan
Nintendo has reveal that its next games console the Wii U will be released in the UK and Europe on November 30th.
That’s one week before the Japanese release date in December, which was announced earlier this morning.
As with the Japanese launch, there will be two SKUs of Wii U available on day one. The white Basic pack will include a 8GB Wii U console, one GamePad and Stylus and an AC adapter.
The black Premium pack meanwhile will contain a 32GB Wii U, one GamePad, all the accessories featured in the Basic pack, plus extras, such as a charging stand and Premium subscription for discounted download games – same as the Japanese bundle.
However, European consumers that pick up the Premium pack will also get a copy of NintendoLand and a Wii Sensor Bar.

The iPhone 5 is finally here. But after all the speculation, and then the analysis of its features, how much do we really care? Is the shine wearing off Apple's launches?
Apple events always generate enormous amounts of press attention beforehand, yet the buzz around the most recent announcement seemed to die down quickly once the iPhone 5 was confirmed. Perhaps it was due to high expectations. After rumours about new iPad Minis and iMacs, 'merely' seeing a new shiny phone with updated features didn't do a lot for some people.
Nevertheless, it will sell. Apple's shares went up immediately after the conference yesterday. It will fly out of shops. Retailers will be able to sell a ton of accessories for the new device.
Mike Shaw, editor of trade mobile content site Mobile Entertainment, commented: "As ever, the iPhone 5 will sell spectacularly well. In fact, there have already been forecasts that it will help shift 149m iPhones this year alone; that’s 60 per cent more than last year."
Indeed, Daniel Gleeson, mobile analyst, IHS, said: ""The addition of a new, larger screen is a fundamental change in product design. Furthermore, the iPhone 5 is the first member of Apple's smartphone line to feature 4G long term evolution (LTE) connectivity, accelerating data speeds dramatically compared to previous models. These major improvements will drive strong sales for the iPhone 5."
However, not everyone was convinced that the improvements were enough to warrant existing iPhone customers upgrading.
Mobile Entertainment's Shaw went on to say: "The device itself is slightly underwhelming. It’s by no means a bad phone, but some features we expect from a true next-gen smartphone are missing, including NFC. Ultimately, it simply matches competitors, rather than offering anything innovative."

Craig Hume of IT retailer Utopia Computers said: "It's a desirable device, but I feel it fell short on innovative features that I would expect from a new Apple product."
Even the new upgrades could potentially put off customers. We're thinking of the new 9-pin connector in particular. If you come from a household with a few i-devices, that perhaps share a handful of 30-pin leads and docks, it may be expensive to replace or upgrade to a 9-pin device.
Apple has released a Lightning adaptor, which you can find here, but it's a somewhat eye-watering £25. Not much on top of the price of a phone perhaps, but it seems a steep cost for a mere adaptor.
The Apple iPhone 5 will no doubt succeed, but it's left many commentors feeling a little bored. Hmmmm.

It's iPhone in the news, but Android is taking over the world.
Android appeared on the market in 2008, but next year, IHS forecasts that shipments of phones using the Google OS will total more than one billion.
In 2013, worldwide annual shipments of Android smartphones will rise to 451 million, up from 357 million this year. These rapidly increasing figures mean that combined shipments since 2008 will total 1.1 billion by the end of 2013.
The same report forecasts that Apple's iOS will have shipped 527 million units by the same point, not reaching one billion until 2015.
Daniel Gleeson, mobile analyst for IHS, said: "Such an open-source model means that Google offers handset makers the ability to customise Android easily, and by also eliminating licensing fees, is greatly encouraging adoption among smartphone handset manufacturers."
