Created by DJB on 30th October 2008

    Original News Story: HERE
    Original Forum Thread: HERE
(Please use this forum thread to submit bug reports).

DOWNLOAD: Removed, bug found. 2.7 will be out soon.

    Release Notes:
Here you have it, an all-in-one solution for your Pandora Needs.

This program is designed to prepare your PSP Memory Stick to be used with the Pandora Battery. Unfortunately this program can not change your Battery to Pandora, however it will copy programs to the Memory Stick in order for you to do this yourself.

I hope you enjoy this new release...

WARNING: THIS PROGRAM WILL FORMAT AND INSTALL THE IPL LOADER TO THE DRIVE LETTER YOU SELECT AS YOUR PSP DRIVE, SO MAKE SURE IT IS THE CORRECT DRIVE BEFORE PROCEEDING. I DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR FORMATTED USB HARD DRIVES ETC...

    What's New:
The compression used in versions 2.4 and 2.5 had problems with 64-bit Operating Systems, so now it has been reverted back to what was used in 2.3 (which had no reported problems).

Hellcat's Recovery Flasher is now updated to v1.41 (which will now Flash 5.00 M33-3), and the latest version of CXMB is updated to v3.3 (which is 5.00 M33 compatible). AutoStart PRX was removed due to no 5.00 M33 support, and replaced with Custom Firmware Extender v3.0.

    Requirements:
    - A PC with Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista and .NET Framework v2.0.
    - A PSP with USB Cable and 1.50 or 3.xx/4.xx/5.xx M33 Custom Firmware Installed. (This is needed for creating the Pandora Battery, not the Memory Stick).
    - The official Sony Firmware EBOOT files for 1.50, 3.71, 3.80, 3.90, 4.01, and 5.00.

    What it does:
    - Formats your PSP Memory Stick with or without MSPFormat.
    - Installs the TimeMachine IPL to the Memory Stick.
    - Checks the Internet for any new versions.
    - Loads and Saves Configurations.
    - Allows you to select which buttons to use to boot your PSP.
    - Copy Official Firmwares 1.50, 3.71, 3.80, 3.90, 4.01, and 5.00 to your PSP.
    - Installs jas0nuk's Pandora ELF+PBP Menu to access all the programs.
    - Installs Hellcats Pandora Installer to your PSP.
    - Installs the M33 1.50 Kernel Addon Installers to your PSP.
    - Installs POPSLoader (3.30, 3.40, 3.51, 3.72, 3.80, 3.90, 4.01) to your PSP.
    - Installs the Noobz Pandora 1.50 Downgrader to your PSP.
    - Installs Despertar Cementerio v3 to your PSP.
    - Installs Despertar Cementerio v4 to your PSP.
    - Installs Despertar Cementerio v5 to your PSP.
    - Installs Despertar Cementerio v7 to your PSP.
    - Installs 5.00 M33-3 CFW to your PSP.
    - Installs Time Machine v0.1 to your PSP.
    - Installs Support Tools executable from either Pandora or XMB.

    News/release from StifPSP

PressMe 0.0.3 is now available! PressMe is my first homebrew coded in C. This verifies that the buttons on your PSP function properly if you are in doubt between the problem hardware or software on your PSP.

Example: The most experienced, you can 't leave your games HOME. When you turn on your PSP, it is in Recovery Mode alone, or you can not write in the OSK. Simply launch the homebrew and a message 's poster saying that a key is pressed while you don' t press any buttons, the problem is hardware. A simple example to show that this little homebrew a small utility despite its lightness. It takes everything to make a world not?

This takes into account homebrew 12 keys for the moment:

    Croix
    Round
    Triangle
    Square
    Top
    Low
    Left
    Right
    L
    R
    START
    SELECT
I did not have to add support for other keys and the joystick because it requires code a single PRX PressMe so that it is compatible PSP S & L and PSP FAT.

Last month Eastasiasoft said their space shooter Söldner-X was on target to become a PlayStation Network download in October. Since it’s the last week in October I thought we would see it on this Thursday’s PlayStation Store update. After searching their forums I discovered this was not the case. A moderator explains, “the game will be pushed back to a late November release.” I thought I would be searching for 20 secret keys to get a silver trophy too. ...

    Uberjack posted this news today:

For those who are wondering, I’m not dead - just swamped with work and an unhealthy obsession with Fable II. Which is unusual for me, considering that I’m really not much of an RPG buff.

Some great news in the PSP-3000 hacking front came and went, the most promising one being the motherboard of the new system — it’s a TA-90, hence “pandorizable”, though currently with some sort of protection. Let’s hope not for too long.

In other news, I’ve noticed that while Atari800 has not seen any releases since mid-last year, work on it has been ongoing. While the changes are mostly structural (code reshuffling, etc…), they have made me consider an intermediate, possibly beta release of Atari800 PSP, based on code in the CVS repository. If that happens, I’ll most likely post a build in the forum for those interested to test (I’ll post an update here as well).

For the Fuse fans, here’s the situation on future releases: Philip Kendall, the principal developer of Fuse, commented earlier about changes coming to a future release; these changes will be substantial (from the sound of it, and at least from a structural standpoint), going so far as to change how extended disk support functions. Fuse PSP is being actively developed, and will be updated when the next version of Fuse is released, or shortly before.

There are other things being worked on at the moment, but as I’m not certain of their status, I’m going to keep any comments to myself, until I know for sure.

Fable 2 has gone straight in at number one on the UK all-formats software chart, making it the fifth fastest-selling Xbox 360 game of all time. (GTA IV's the fastest ever, if you were wondering. Probably not.)

According to data providers Chart-Track sales of last week's chart-topper, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, have fallen more than 50 per cent - leaving the game in fourth place. FIFA 09 sales are also down, this time by nearly a quarter, and it's at number three.

So who's in the No. 2 spot? Why, it's Far Cry 2, making its chart debut this week. A third of copies sold were for PS3, while 43 per cent were for Xbox 360 and 24 per cent for PC. Other new entries in the top ten include Dead Space at No. 6 and Midnight Club: Los Angeles at No. 10.

Nintendo's maintaining a presence in the top ten with Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii at 8 and 9 respectively. However, what's more unusual is to see is Microsoft claiming the best-selling version of five out of the top six games in this week's chart. Gosh.
