hmw released an alpha version of Vincent, a port of the Vincent OpenGL ES API for the GP2X. This release contains both source code and binaries. Heres a snippet of the release notes:

The new rasterizer improved things, but not as much as I had hoped. The demo car (732 triangles) spins at 17-20 fps, depending on the view. (mipmap nearest, nearest texel, depth buffer, culling). For performance freaks, you can find specialized versions of the inner loops in RasterizerPieces.cpp that you can hook up in RasterizerTriangles.cpp (look for the comments, it's obvious). While usually these inner loops are compiled at runtime using the built-in JIT, you might want to experiment with these versions to see how far you can stretch performance. In the form supplied, the difference makes up 1 fps (e.g. 18-21 fps).

More information and the downloads can be found via the GP32x forum post here --> http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=26839 ...

(News Submission and New Release of PSPiano by Pauldude 550)

ok, i have spent a lot of work on improving this in the last few days. quite time consuming but there you go.
    change log:
it tells you which button you are pressing
on screen it tells you what button is what
the app now has scales, you can play in c major or c minor or d major or d minor etc. also, an exit code has been put in for lua users.

thanks to greenskull, pspmillionaire and lordsturm for the help!
expect to see a release made by both me and lordsturm which will do even more piano crazy things!

(News Submission and New Release By Sousanator)

This is my first program ever, so I hope you like it.
Sort of inspired by pauldude550's PSPiano

PSP Guitar is a simple Lua Applicataion that controls the PSP like a Guitar.

You hold it on an angle with your left hand, with your two fingers over the Start and Select buttons, and thumb over the R button. With your other hand's thumb you flick the Analog stick like Guitar stings. (See infopic) You can hold it normally, but this gives it the feeling of a real guitar.

Thanks to Dark Killer/ pauldude550 for the guitar sounds
and to all the lua guides out there, they helped a lot

    Controls

Analog Down + Start makes the D note
Analog Down + Select makes the G note
Analog Down + R Trigger makes a low E note
Analog Up + Start makes the A note
Analog Up + Select makes the B note
Analog Up + R Trigger makes a high E note

    Future Plans

    -Visulizer Effect??
    -Record Mode??
    -Change of controls(if requested)??
    -Electric Guitar sounds
    -anything else??

    Enjoy
