What's new:
- New: Error handling (should've been done sooner)
- New: BootDreams' settings are saved in an INI, not registry now

- Fixed: A lot, if not all, of the run time errors

Sorry to the people that couldn't get BootDreams working cause it'd give you a runtime error or an unknown error - I was too lazy to type out the entire path to the programs, which was causing the problem.

I was just thinking if it would be possible to make a PSP launch homebrew and backups for your PS2.
instead of using the swap method use like a kxploit type tool to launch PS2 homebrew. With the PSP plugged into the PS2 USB port could you put in a PS2 homebrew CDR and launch it using the PSP. ...by Published on August 4th, 2005 21:28

The homebrew web browser for the PSP thats in Japanese and to be honest a bit of a bugger to get working has been updated to v0.3, heres whats new:
added UTF-8 and EUC coding support
more tags now can be parsed
Anyone got a tutorial on how to use this then please let us know

DCEmu UK is around 16 months old and is the premier english news site for the Dreamcast Emulation and Homebrew scene, (Dreamcast Scene is the killer site for Commercial and other scene news) and 2 days ago we broke the magical 3 million mark and not only that celebrated the biggest day for visitors since the site began.
Thanks to all the visitors and Developers who help keep this site and scene alive

As you can see on the left sidebar for a while, we're going to be at this year's Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, the second time after 2003. This time our official booth will be almost triple as large as two years ago and feature the categories Hobby Development, Demoscene and Game Base.
Now Sega also announced that Yuji Naka, inventor of Sonic The Hedgehog and head of the Sonic Team?, is going to speak to the business visitors about future projects and his visions on the 17th of August, followed by an autograph hour for the general audience on the 18th of August.
The Games Convention will take place between the 15th to 21st August 2005. Be sure that we try everything to confront Yuji Naka about Dreamcast-Scene and what we do.

Kuwanger has released a new Unofficial Version of Goomba, the Gameboy emulator for the Gameboy Advance that also works on the Nintendo DS and Gamecube Gameboy player.
Heres what he posted:
Warning: only test this if you're willing to risk losing your saves
Note: There are only currently tools to make customizable borders under Linux. The code uses imlib2, so it's likely easily portable to all *nix-like OSs. There's a FORMAT document if someone wants to produce a build tool for Windows. I'll probably make some scripts to simplify some of the work for Linux in the future.
Okay, I've got a new beta that I'd like to have some testing done on:
The main changes are:
Customizable Border
Reworked sram.c to avoid going past END_OF_EXRAM
The reason I'm calling this a beta is specifically this latter point. Apparently there was a space near the end that was being overwritten during saves (well, at least possible).
Read the appendable/README to have some idea on how to add customizable borders. There's a goomba.bin for those who want to add back the old default border. One other note: it s by design that when you go multiboot/copy through the link cable that the borders are not copied as well. While it would be possible to simply only copy over as many borders as would fit, it doesn't seem very worthwhile to add that feature in.
Please include any bugs you experience below. Hopefully there are none. If you do find a bug, please list the following: your flash cart, whether you were using goomba as a plugin under pogoshell (note if you're using multiboot or not), and a numbered list of the steps taken to [re]produce the bug (if possible).
