    News via http://newsoftrockhallelujah.blogspo...at-e3-360.html

MS will reveal a slim 360 natal bundle at one of their two (yes, two) press conferences at this year's e3.

What's more the 360 will be getting a subtle rebrand, with a new logo and black as the new primary colour of the console. They feel that the new system needs to be black because a white Natal wouldn't sit well next to the typical gloss black tv.

The new system design is pretty neat.

And Natal? Let's just say you'll probably be both very surprised and very pleased by one of the games revealed... what is it?

Might Get Shot if I were to tell.

    You'll see.

    News from Hackmii:

A faithful HackMii reader spent some time with AnyTitle Deleter and tried to clean everything odd off his Wii, and used the HackMii Installer to uninstall the HBC and BootMii/boot2. He then sent his Wii into Nintendo (of America) to try to get them to repair a noisy drive; the warranty had expired, and he just wanted to pay them to repair the drive.

After they received the Wii, they wrote him back and said that because he had unauthorized software installed (something they could not fix themselves — but more on this later), it would cost $200 for them to do any repair. He had them just send him back the Wii, and then reinstalled BootMii/boot2 and dumped the NAND and sent it to us to figure out what he had missed and anything else we could gain from the image.

I have a few theories as to what they detected, based on what things he did not manage to delete — and for a while, that’s all we had to go on, and it wasn’t going to make for a very interesting article. However, several hours with 0xED and grep and xxd paid off, and I found some traces of the disc they ran to detect “Illegal software”. Unfortunately, I was only able to find part of the data section of the main DOL of the disc, and not the code, so I don’t have actual screenshots to share — you’ll have to use your imagination this time. (If anyone has sent a Wii in to Nintendo for repair in the past few months, and received the same Wii back — no refurbs! — I’d love to see a NAND dump, especially if you took one right after you received it back. I may be able to reconstruct the rest of the disc.)

Here is the raw output of ’strings’ on the relevant part of the data section:

    News from the Pandora Blog:

Yesterday, we were in for quite a surprise!

On Thursday, air traffic was back to a regular state - but delivery services (like UPS) have quite a backlog and need some time to catch up.
They told us, our shipment won't arrive before early next week.

Therefore, Craig was quite surprised when he found a note left by UPS yesterday at his door that there had been a shipment for him - and that they left it to a neighbouring business.

And there he found it: The shipment from Texas. Lying around on the grass, visible for everyone - and nobody was really paying attention to it.
Quickly he delivered the packages to where they belong - and now everything is safe and sound. Still a scary thought that about half a million USD were lying around on the grass...

Anyways, that does mean: The boards, LCD, WiFi Antennas and some other minor things have arrived in the UK!

Now we need to wait for the cases. Those cases have been produced and painted, but as it looks like, UPS won't pick them up until sometime next week (I guess they try to deliver the stalled shipments first and then start picking up new ones once their back in normal state).

As usual, we'll let you know when UPS picked things up (well, if they tell us... as said, we didn't know the boards would arrive yesterday ) ...

I managed to compile Qt Embedded for Dingux. Maybe some of you want to do some cross-plattform game programming. :-) I also adapted one of the demo applications (Asteroids) for the Dingoo, you can download binaries and source code here:

Matlo] worked out a way to use a PS/2 Keyboard and USB mouse with a PlayStation3. The hard work is handled by a Teensy board, which is becoming a popular choice with controller hacks. It interfaces with the keyboard and mouse, translates their input, and sends joystick button commands to the PS3. He is limited to mapping the inputs from a PS3 controller but that is still enough options to work beautifully with first person shooters, especially if you’re used to gaming on a PC instead of a console. If you want to give this one a try, head over to the google code page to download the source code.
