We'd still venture to say that all signs are pointing toward an iPhone launch on China Unicom before too long, but one key element of the launch -- Unicom's upfront buy -- is now in question. A spokesman for China's third-largest carrier (which is an amazingly low rank considering they've got about as many subscribers as Verizon and AT&T combined) has denied earlier reports that they've stockpiled five million handsets in preparation for launch, saying that negotiations with Apple are still ongoing. We imagine that when you're dealing with a nine-figure subscriber count, any hardware negotiation is complex, tense, and filled with counteroffers, so there's no telling how much longer this process could take.

Sony's price points for the upcoming PSP app store are lower than those used on iTunes, according to a report.

Pocket Gamer claims that games and applications will go on sale for €1, €2 or €5.

The app store, confirmed and detailed last month, will have "no concept, approval, cheaper tools, shorter QA processes and lower available prices" according to Sony developer relations man Zeno Colaço.

Pocket Gamer reckons the quality assurance process will take just two weeks.

Speaking behind closed doors at E3, Sony said that it was approaching developers about bringing their games to the service, and that one of the first to get involved is Subatomic Studios, which is producing a version of its iPhone tower defence game Fieldrunners for the PSP.

The platform holder is set to introduce the app store to the press at gamescom in Cologne later this week, and it may also feature during tomorrow's Sony press conference, which starts at 5.30pm BST / 6.30pm CET.

Many virtual rev-heads knew it was coming, but Logitech has now officially replaced its G25 Racing Wheel with the G27. The update adds shift-indicator LEDs that you help know when to up/down gear, and more programmable buttons on the wheel.

Hi, Our Jedi Master ports on Dingux has hit again! Yes, Ezial returns with a gift to save more under the tree of the penguin Dingux… and now it’s this time of Quake!!

The goal of the game has not changed since its release on PC in 1996: aside from evil at any cost, with great bursts of hatchet, gun, pump rifle, rocket launchers and other funny things.

You will find below the portage binaries (for Dingux) and the shareware version of Quake. For the lucky owners of the commercial version of the game, you can, of course, use the files pak0.pak and pak1.pak which go far to retrieve it from your original CD. It's going to bleed!!!

New xna game for 360 released:

The first of the apocalipse dawn series however its in a unplayable stage. The idea is there will be three maps each in a different setting. One is in a bunker another a series of dark tunnels and a larger wide open zombie assault. They should be at least 6 guns i have all ready done 4 of the weapons. It should be 4 player online co-op and its a first person shooter. Don't expect straght results am working on my own in spare time. i'll keep you posted on the progress. I would have more maps but a 150mb limit sucks. Chances are the computer version will be better and longer.

Now Thinking of Creating A Streets Map.
    Work now continues as usual.

This game is being made with xna and the C# enviroment.

    All Suggestions & Opinions Welcome!

Red Squirrel has released AnyTitle Deleter MOD v6 :

AnyTitle Deleter MOD is an unofficial mod by Red Squirrel of tona's AnyTitle Deleter.

It keeps all original tona's AnyTitle Deleter functions but it allows the program to show the real names of titles instead of just ID numbers, making it easier to select which ones you actually want to delete.

From MOD v3 it has some new features, as a installed titles backupper, IOS chooser, or the possibility to exit rebooting the Wii.

Note: Real names of titles come from an external file ( database.txt ) and so can be edited and updated by everyone.

    Features
-Possibility to choose with which IOS to start the program.

-Possibility to update database.txt directly from Wii.

-Possibility to backup all installed titles in a TXT into SD root: will be written the Title ID, ASCII Code, Type, Name and required IOS!

-Possibility to backup ONLY unknown titles in a TXT into SD root: will be written the Title ID, ASCII Code, Type, Name and required IOS!

-Possibility to read the titles name directly from Wii NAND.

-Possibility to exit rebooting the console: usefull if you want to install this application as a Wii Channel!

For a list of all original available functions see AnyTitle Deleter wiki page.

    Changelog
    MOD v6:

-Added a function to select with which IOS to start the program. So if you get an error at program startup procedure just restart the program choosing another IOS (with flash access).

-The number of entries read from the database.txt has been increased from 1000 to 10000.

Gabest has released a new version of PCSX2 VC10. This version was compiled with Visual C++ 2010 Beta 1.

All changes there are, as always in the extended text.

    r1633
pcsx2: fixed some msvc++ compiler warnings

    r1631
    microVU: minor cleanups

    r1630
microVU: Implemented some undocumented stuff which lets Champions Return to Arms get in-game. The game still looks ugly, I´m not sure if its problems are gsdx or pcsx2. zeroGS just renders a black screen which it no help xD Note: I still need to optimize this fix.

    r1629
    microVU: minor changes

    r1628
wxgui: Begin work on some missing panels for the pcsx2 config dialog.

    r1627
Fix a silly mistake I made in naming functions in Tags.h.

    r1626
Disable vsync when going from "limit" to "skip" framelimit mode.

    r1625
A bunch of IPU.cpp now uses Tags.h. Ironed out a few things in Tags.h.

    r1624
wxgui: * Major cleanups and improvements to the Threading namespace. * Created CoreEmuThread class framework, which currently runs the EEcore, IOP, and VUs with threadsafe suspension, reset, and resume features.

    r1623
Link in Tags.h, use one of my new enums in various places, and move some code in IPU.h to a new function of it´s own.

    r1622
Added some tag code in I was fiddling with. (Nothing uses it yet. I mainly wanted a backup of what I was working on.)

    r1621
    microVU: - Cleaned up microVU_Compile - Added file microVU_Branch

    r1620
forgot to set function level linking..., that trims more unused code and dlls deps, any good revision number ahead to reach?

    r1619
    doh, so many missing files

    r1618
    missing project files
