Nicksasa has updated FSToolbox to v0.3

FS Toolbox is a NAND browser that can dump files from the nand to sd card and write files from sd card to the nand, with this you can edit files on the nand to test stuff out and to have backups of your files if something ever goes wrong.

You can set the pointer onto a TMD file in the selected title id and then press 2, you will be able to select the IOS version the channel uses and fakesign it after that.

NEW FUNCTION : Dump the full nand fs to your SD! Just press 1 and it will start

    Warning
FS Toolbox is a dangerous program, and it is advised that you only use it if you have a sufficient understanding of how the Wii system memory works and what files not to mess with. You should probably use BootMii as boot2 to backup your Wii before continuing.

The creator of this application takes no responsibility for the damage that you may cause to your console when using this.

    Update History
    0.3 - June 18, 2009
    Code cleanup
    Update function
Recursive folder dump function(full dump when executed from root)

Sg57 has posted another update to his game for the PSP:

Light Cycle 3D is a clone (NOT a port) of the light cycle racing concept from the hit movie Tron. This uses GLtron's models and a few textures. This uses Brick's LTE Lite Mod for rendering. As of v3.0 it supports up to 30 racers at once with 4 different speeds, 4 different grid sizes, 4 different skins come bundled and 2 game types with full mp3 playback support and customizable light cycle component colors.

    LASTEST:
    .:.:.: UPDATE v3.0 :.:.:.
    Features:
    * Now you can race up to 29 opponents! Go nuts, first one to place first out of 30 get's a cookie...
    * New variable grid size! Choose from small, normal, large and HUGE!
    * New mini-map - toggle it on/off in-game with []!
    * New type of AI added
    * New gametype added - you may now choose from 'Classic' and 'Uber' (more on this later)
    * Custom Skin support! Easy-to-use Modular skin system implemented. Read 'Skin.txt' in the folder for instructions. I'd like to thank 0m3GA ARS3NAL for the Virtual Reality skin from MGS I now have bundled with Light Cycle 3D v3.0
    * more i'm just forgetting sorry

    Tweaks/Improvements:
    * Your view will no longer be obstructed by the boundaries, the camera is smoothly bound to the playing field
    * 'Uber' AIs bust through other walls using the same 'explosion' sound but at a higher pitch - conservative and a satisfying sound
    * Big boy 'recognizer' is now more bad-a$$ looking ^.^
    * Speeds have been adjusted, insane is now insane-r
    * Updated all the AI to pave the way to unrestricted movement so soon no more 90 degree-only turns
    * MP3 Playback was a bit unstable and has been improved
    * Updated Brick's LTE Lite Mod to 1.2, i was 2 versions behind! eek.
    * lot more i just can't remember it all

    Current Bugs:
    * Same as the initial release, there is a graphical bug in the engine (so i've deduced) that mucks with the diffuse color of the model component when it comes time to apply it and render said component (this applies to all models - tracers/rails and light cycles alike)

Gametypes (at the moment 2, but the system is there for more):
    * Classic - the good ol' classic tron, race around do your stuff
    * Uber - this is a much more difficult game; your enemies are godly in both brains and bronze. They can and will blow through any wall in their way should they have to but only if they have to. Not to mention they are able to take quite a beating as well, but their deaths are spectacular sights with huge effects (what do you expect when a god dies ;p). They are easily distinguishable by their massive light cycles and huge flare trails they leave behind. Don't be intimidated with your little thing (err...) it's not the size that counts, it's how you use it.

I challenge anyone to beat 29 enemies in the Uber gametype! who knew chaos was so much fun eh..

Enjoy everyone, and thank you all who voted for me in the PSP-Hacks competition, your support on this as well as any other of my projects is greatly appreciated!

    News via PSPita/ Mfor mature

U3-Robot has released his own Custom Firmware (and then updated it) which adds onto the recent 5.50 Custom firmware released last week, heres both news items:

First, I think about making Fix Flasher 1.0 with many fixes, but I made an own firmware called 5.50 U3R.

    Changes from 5.50 GEN:
VSH Menu has SHUTDOWN DEVICE option.
Recovery Menu has SPEEDUP MS options.

    Installation:
    1) You must install first 5.50 GEN as a shell (framework).
    2) Copy u3rloader folder from a zip file to /PSP/GAME
    3) Start 5.50U3R Installer from Game - Memory stick.
    4) Click X to install firmware.
    5) Enjoy!

Heres the info from the 2nd version released:

    Changes from 5.50 U3R:
Fixed PSX Games - they are now working. (tested on Gran Turismo)
Fixed exit with O button - now working.
Added built-in plugins: (only for psp-2000, and still under construction)
LEDControl 0.2 (not working on my 2000)
    Hold+ 3.7 (working on my 2000)
MusicPRX 390 (not working on my 2000)

    Installation:
    1) You must install first 5.50 GEN or 5.50 U3R as a shell (framework).
    2) Delete u3rloader folder from /PSP/GAME if it is.
    3) Copy u3rloader folder from a zip file to /PSP/GAME
    4) Start 5.50U3R Installer from Game - Memory stick.
    5) Click X to install firmware or Up with plugins.
    6) Enjoy!

Like any firmware or app that uses the Flash area, there is a risk of bricking, so please use with care. If in doubt wait to see what the veterans of any community do.

T-Mobile has finally confirmed what the FCC (and its own computers) already told us: the BlackBerry-Bold-inspired HTC Snap, a 3G, Windows Mobile 6.1 QWERTY+trackball followup to the original Dash, is arriving on T-Mobile as a successor to the original Dash.

Since we've played with the Snap (and liked it—warning, April Fools link), and the handset is rumored to be unusually cheap, the two items of interest here are pricing and date of availability. Despite this, T-Mobile neglected to include either of these things in their release, so we'll have to wait, or take the previously leaked July 1st date as fact. ...

Nintendo may be new to this whole "teaser site" thing, but they're doing a bang up job at the teasing part!

As promised last week, the company gave its Tingle teaser site an update today with some promised trailer footage. The good news is that there are three trailers. The bad news is that they're all just a few seconds long, and rather than calling them video footage, they're more like still images waving around somewhat.

To see the "clips" for yourself, click on the television icon at the site. We were able to obtain three different clips by clicking multiple times.

So far, it's known that this game will be a DS title that's suitable for all ages (it has the lowest rating from Japan's ratings board). It will presumably star the Zelda mascot that everyone loves to hate. And it will probably never come out in America because everyone really loves to hate him here.

Aside from that, we'll have to wait until Nintendo cuts with the teasing and gives the game a proper unveil.

Today 505 Games launched the official Web site for the upcoming WWII flight shooter IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey, available this fall for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, Nintendo DS and the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. The Web site will feature exclusive key development updates, making the IL-2 Sturmovik homepage the number one source for news and updates in anticipation of the game's global release this fall.

Available in six languages, the IL-2 homepage will act as both a news hub hosting all the latest assets and trailers, as well as a reference point for newcomers to get up to speed on the game. The site currently features the latest trailer released this week, as well as details on eight of the 'birds of prey' aircraft featured in the game. Further details on additional planes will be posted on the Web site before they are available anywhere else.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey allows players to participate in some of the most famous military confrontations of World War II in large-scale aerial combat over ground-based military operations. As pilots, gamers battle in fighter planes or heavy bombers across a range of missions through six major WWII battles - The Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Berlin, Sicily, the Battle of the Bulge and Korsun - which represent the main airborne battles of World War II in Europe.

As well as taking environmental and landscape visuals to new heights by incorporating satellite technology into the game, IL-2 also boasts a tangible damage effects engine. Players will see real-time damage to the aircraft such as holes in the wings and trail lines during dogfights. More specific details on the game will be released on the Web site leading up to the game's release.
