Games under the DJ MAX titles have long attracted players through the incorporation of cool songs and graphics. By utilizing the two strongest aspects of the PSP console, DJ MAX Portable Emotional Sense is bringing you a whole new DJ experience.

New games have to come with new music, DJMAX welcomes the hit techno-classic band Clazziquai into their family. Clazziquai's music, although intricate as a whole, can be split into different parts.

By concentrating on one part of the music, the female lead's melody, for example, new gamers can have an easier time picking up the basics and by working together with the computer or other DJs, the players can perform complex melodies that dazzle.

While the Clazziquai version provides ample training opportunities for novices, Black Square is the communal playground for veterans. Instead of relying on the CPU, turn on your Wi-Fi connection on the Sony PSP and DJ with friends within your reach.

The Black Square version encapsulates the essence of DJMAX through different modes and features well known DJMAX artists such as Croove, Ruby Tuesday, ND Lee, Makou and Planetboom.

Besides new tracks, the game combines songs from the first and second games resulting in a music database with more than 100 pieces. By taking challenges, players can unlock hidden stages and music videos, listen to music, train your reflexes and have a lovely time.

The new Sony PSP exclusive DJ Max title Emotional Sense is now on preorder in the following editions:

DJ Max Portable Emotional Sense - Black Square KOR US$ 49.90
DJ Max Portable Emotional Sense - Clazziquai Edition KOR US$ 49.90
DJ Max Portable Emotional Sense - Clazziquai Edition [Special Package] KOR US$ 59.90

The Limited Edition of the Clazziquai version comes in a different jacket and with a wall scroll painted delicately by the artists of the Pentavision team.

While both Clazziquai Editions are expected for late October, the Black Square version will follow a month later.

Besides gameplay, DJMAX is also known for its excellent music, as mentioned previously. Technika is the new DJMAX sensation in the arcades. The touch screen music game trains your reflexes and brings the hotness of Korean pop music to a wide range of audiences.

You'll be able to find something familiar, songs used in previous games, and new songs from famous artists such as Rion, BJJ and Urbatronic Chopsticks. Aside from Korean pop, the Japanese composer Tsukasa also made contributions to the game.

To accommodate the skill level and music tastes of gamers, there is a wide range of music genres in this CD, for example, pop, folk and techno-punk.

Technika is exclusive to Korea at the moment, but its popularity is not restricted to certain areas, come join in the fun wherever you are. DJMAX Technika, the Original Soundtrack of the arcade game is available in several versions:

DJ Max Technika Card Collection [Platinum Package] KOR US$ 18.90
DJ Max Technika Card Collection [Technika Package] KOR US$ 18.90
DJ Max Technika Exclusive Collection [Limited Edition] KOR US$ 29.90

The albums are coming in the end of the month along with the Emotional Sense games.

All of these music packages come with an IC card key and an LCD cleaner. The Platinum Collection edition comes with a CD which records the remix of the tracks while the Exclusive Collection comes with all the Platinum Collection's items plus a sheet of stickers.

Over at MTV's Multiplayer blog, they've gone a little Nintendo number crunching crazy. Based on data pulled from the Wii's Nintendo Channel, there's Wii software usages (as of October 5, 2008) for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Wii Sports, Mario Kart Wii, Rock Band and many more! Interesting factoids:

    • The average Super Smash Brother: Brawl owner in America has played the game more than 61 hours since the game's February release.

    • The average Wii Fit consumer has played that exercise game more times than the average Okami fan has played Capcom’s wolf action-game.
