Success HK have posted several new Nintendo DS games on their site:

    Ice Age 2: The Meltdown

An adventure game based on the sequel to Fox's CG animated film. The Ice Age is ending and our subzero heroes return in this action adventure video game set in a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. Manny the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth and Diego the Sabre-Toothed Tiger are back and realize that the melting glaciers will soon flood their valley. With the help of everyone's favorite sabre-toothed squirrel from the first movie, Scrat, help your big friends cross the perilous landscape to safety. Scrat will dig, swim, sniff, spin and roll his in his never-ending quest to collect acorns. In the process, he serves as the unwitting hero in the quest to save the land from a giant flood.

    Pokemon Ranger

An action RPG set in the world of the Pokemon Ranger movie. You play as a Pokemon Ranger. Different from a Pokemon Trainer, a Ranger travels the lands, using Pokemon in a fight to defend nature from baddies. Its release precedes that of Diamond and Pearl, and all three games link up together for some top secret bonuses.

Puzzle Series Vol. 3: Sudoku Jap ver

A puzzle game for the Nintendo DS, based on the Sudoku number game. A board is split into nine rows and columns. The resulting squares are further split into 3x3 groups. The game starts off with some of the squares filled in with numbers between 1 and 9. You have to fill in the rest of the numbers so that each row, column and 3x3 grouping uses the digits 1 to 9 only once.

    Cooking Mama Jap ver.

This cute cooking game uses the touchscreen of the Nintendo DS to let you cook meals. Playing as a female chef, you have to prepare the food (slicing the vegetables, slicing the meat), then cook it on the stove. With touchscreen play, you can do things such as shake the skillet for an omelet and dip tempura in the oil.

    Ys Strategy Jap ver.

Ys Strategy is a true real time strategy title that makes use of the DS's dual screens and stylus to provide a smooth interface for a genre that game consoles and portable systems have traditionally had trouble with. One screen displays a map and all your resources, while the other shows the game field and various icons for all your possible actions. Using the L button, you can switch the views between the top and bottom. The game is controlled with the touch pen, as you directly select characters and objects and then point to the desired action.
Gameplay is reminiscent of a traditional real time strategy title. When you first start off, your goal is to build up resources, ordering your units to gather food, money, stones and other bits of raw material. This is followed by unit creation, as you build up troops using unit factories and weapon factories. All this requires time and money, of course. Finally, you send your troops out in battle, using standard attacks and even powerful magic spells.

Pacmanfan had this to say in his update thread

I know everyone is dying for an update (or a file release). Currently, I'm working on some issues getting the Eboot to run on a real PSP. I've been working primarily with the PSPE emulator, and the dynaimc recompiler works fine, however, I'm having somewhat random crashes getting it to work on the real PSP.

It actually works fine as long as file debugging is turned on, but when I turn off my logging, or try to comment out the file writes in the file debugging code, the PSP crashes. I think it has to do with the CPU registers being saved before file writes. I need to figure out why (or what) is causing corruption of the registers during run-time. I suspect it's another thread. The dynamic compiler definately DOES work on the PSP.

One issue that I'm still having with the PSPSOne emulator is GPU interrupts not being handled correctly all the time. I beleive it's because my program counter variable is being updated only while branching.

One other thing that I'm going to do is change the architecture of the plugin system to integrate the GPU Plugin code directly into the project, instead of being called through a function pointer system. There are several unnecessary layers of function calls being made every time I write to the GPU memory, This can be optimized for better speed, as well as normal memory reads/writes.

Another thing I'm doing, is converting the project to work with the PSPSDK. I know this may sound strange, but I used a smaller psplib.c file with limited functionality in it, as well as my own startup.s code. This is the same code that I used to build Quake before there was a PSPSDK.

I can post a binary that works in the PSPE emulator if everyone wants, but I think you all can wait till I iron out a few issues with the PSP version.

Hopefully, I'll have something for everyone to see soon. Be patient, rest assured that I'm still working on this, and devoting a lot of time to it.

This is a new app written in Lua so make sure you have the Lua Player installed. Heres the info:

This is currently a very basic beta of PSysP Info. The aim of the program (written in lua) is just to be an almost task manager and to show lots of system information. However currently it is very limited as I have only
included the freespace, date and time and battery information, which still isn't complete. If you have a look at the code you will see some unused functions and general things that I will either use in a later release or scrap completely. e.g pagestatus. hmm I wonder what that could be all will be revealed in the future.

Heres more info about this release:

Hi well this is my second game in lua. Its still in the BETA form. I will be improving the code and the sound clips. this is a game where you have fun killing the little stick guy (will add characters) you press buttons and something will happen to little billy. its a pointless fun game and its a good time waster. and i will be adding more characters so you can torment more then just a stick figure. right now it is only a stick figure.

    the controls:

    X - find out
    O - find out
    Square - find out
    Triangle - find out
Left, right, up, down - Find out
L - currently nothing (will be button to change characters later)
    R - resets the character

Please note this is in very early production and it not the best. It is just a game, for you people who like to hurt others except this is safer. its basicaly a time waster. but once i add more features it will be more entertaining.

To clear any confusion, a Sony representative, speaking with Yahoo! Games, has confirmed that the PS3 will ship with a 60 GB HDD, with an option to upgrade. No PS3 bundles will be sold without a hard drive. However, it's unclear if by upgrading, purchasers will have the option to buy the console with a larger hard drive, or if they'll be forced take the 60 GB HDD and buy an additional, larger drive separately—we guess the latter (at least, at launch), but aren't ruling out the possibility of two bundles with different sized hard drives (for example, 60 GB and 100 GB bundles).

Overall, standardizing the consoles to include a hard drive benefits both developers and consumers. But we're still left wondering if the asking price will be out of the range of a significant percentage of potential buyers. ...
