Need help with makeing .cdi image

I have a game and basically it's a bunch of files that are .001 through .008. I took .001 and uncompressed it with rar. Then I took bootdreams and made a .cdi file from the extractions of the rar 001 file. I then took the .cdi image file and burned it with BootDreams. I placed in my dreamcast and it went to the icon with the controller and had the word 'play' on it. So I pressed it, but instead of the game loading up and playing it just reloaded the disc. Can anyone help me out? I've been at this for like 2 days and really feel depressed.

-try to burn it with alcohol120 and rawdao option

-try another .cdi file
