i have one xbox that is not working just perfectly and my friend said i could borrow his xbox until he needs it, i have a modchip and a 120 GB hd and was wondering would it mess anything up in his xbox if i were to just install my hard drive, or would that not work

No one answers these questions eh, well to be blunt, nope it won't work.
The harddrive goes with each indivdual xbox (the xbox looks for key that matchs the hardware).
if you have a pc you can take the xbox harddrive and 120gb harddrive hook it up inside the computer copy the xbox harddrive then install it now you may have to solder inside the xbox so youneed to wait for an xbox of your own.you can go to google and type in xbox upgrade and search the that pop up it may take awhil but you'll prably find a howto guide

look at www.xbox-scene.com under the tutorials or post in their forums because they are a xbox hacking site you see. I suggest before you post here asking questions you should look their in the future.
