Motley Crue to debut new single on Rock Band

This time around it is 80s hair metal band Motley Crue who are using a game to debut their new track, Saints of Los Angeles.

The song will be the first new recording to be included in Rock Band and will be available for download today via Xbox Live Marketplace (for 80 Microsoft Points). The PlayStation Store will allow users to get the track on April 17th.

The band will release their ninth studio album, also entitled Saints of Los Angeles, in July 2008, while a film adaptation of their group autobiography The Dirt is also due at some point this year.

That's kind of awesome. Also kind of awesome is the fact that they're still alive ... which I did not know.
