Brick it?

Would this process brick a PSP?

1. Find the 1.50 update.
2. Use WAB's Version Changer and set it to 1.00.
3. Run the 1.50 update.

Since the PSP would think it was a 1.00, it would think that the update was new, when, in fact, it is the PSP's actual current firmware.

Interesting idea however I wouldn't want to be the one to try it. I'd expect a brick over anything. What's the point of doing this I thought Wab's version changer only works on 1.5's or 1.0's.

Maybe to trick it for installing hombrew firmware?
