Weekly Games Update: The many paths to become a hero as shown in Senjou no Valkyria,

Welcome to this week's Games Update, our weekly summary featuring all new product arrivals from the last seven days.

Plenty of interesting new releases came out this week. Senjou no Valkyria and its Limited Box are released by Sega for PlayStation3™. Become a hero in this unique RPG that combines tactical battles, fascinating characters and an epic storyline to create a believable world the players can fully immerse into.

Travel from the 1930s in Senjou no Valkyria back to medieval Europe in Rondo of Swords with your Nintendo DS™ to join another battle as a holy knight to rescue your princess from danger and protect your kingdom from tyranny. In your journey, learn about love, friendship, sadness and farewells to become a true leader that your people can depend on.

Joining the military is not the only way to become a hero. Maintaining justice and finding the truth behind layers of lies in a courtroom is another alternative.

The third installment in the Gyakuten Saiban series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations ends Phoenix Wrights's trilogy and in the fourth installment, another rookie lawyer, Housuke Odoroki is ready to make his debut as the new defender of justice.

You can also become a sports champion on the race course in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on your PlayStation3™. Test out the full graphical potential of your third generation console and feel the exhilaration and the adrenaline running through your bloodstream as you drive your car pass the finishing line.

If you prefer something sneakier, join a ninja battle with Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden II. There are more playable characters and smoother graphics to go with slick ninja actions. For those who enjoy a taste of something more traditionally Japanese, we have Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7-tsu no Shima no Daibouken. You can defeat evil by being a Taiko drum!

After having enough fun by actually being the hero or a heroine, become their other half by dating them. SNK's Day's of Memories 2 features the fighters from King of Fighters and Fatal Fury as potential dates for you. With a combination of three games, this software has something for both the guys and the ladies.

Last but not least, some accessories for your consoles have arrived to make your gameplay an even more enjoyable experience: white Gamecube controllers, machine guns and Cyber Gun Attachment Vibration sets for Nintendo Wii™ and Rock Band Wireless Guitars for PlayStation2™ and PlayStation3™
