Homebrew restart? Popstation troubles?

Ever since I upgraded to CFW 3.90 M33-3 I've had a few problems....well 2 problems.



1. Okay, I'm running homebrew on the PSP. I put the PSP into sleep mode, I slide the power to take it out of sleep mode, AND IT RETURNS TO THE XMB. The sony logo comes up and everything. For some reason, my PSP cannot sleep while using homebrew. This is especially annoying with apps like bookr and gpsp.


2. PSX games have also gone crazy. I load up Xenogears, a game that was working perfectly on my 3.74 CFW, and after about 5 minutes, the game crashes. The same is true for my copy of Final Fantasy VII.


I'm running a PSP phat, BTW.




Any and all answers are much appreciated!




Also, on an related note, is there a way to downgrade the 3.90 back to 3.74 WITHOUT using pandora? I find that downgrading to 1.5 and working up takes the better part of a day, and well....I'm too lazy for that.
