Protein[DS] is a little audio manipulation software running on Nintendo DS, which ables you to manipulate audio, anywhere you go - it is in some ways similar to ElectroPlankton concept.

Using Protein[DS], you can play with up to four modules at the same time to create a live music set and control external applications, using the touchscreen, audio in/out levels, midi-out, and even motion-control. You can even play with live-recorded audio sample.

absolute genius. this revolutionizes scratching and mixing. this deserves a handclap. i like the pressing start/select for the multiple uses. very good.

New version, as they say, rocks.

is this just a demo? i can load samples, but i can't load them in the "scratch" option.

Now THAT looks quality , athough that geezer playing it on the youtube vid makes it look very easy and i can see it being a lot harder than that - gonna grab it now and see for myself - happy scratching .
