Wii Legend of Zelda disc won't read

Hi,

I bought a copy of legend of zelda for the Wii, but every time i try to run it this error message comes up

" An error has occured. Press the eject button and remove the disc then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual- System Setup for troubleshooting help"

The other games I have Wii sports and Game party worked fine so I brought legend of zelda back and got a replacement, but the same thing keeps happening, is this a problem with the console or the game??

how old is the copy? have u left zelda or any other game inside the console for a long period of time? is the disk scratched? give me some details.
