Sony announces PlayStation 5 Digital Edition

Sony has announced that it will be releasing two versions of the PlayStation 5: a standard edition, and a digital edition.
The hardware was shown for the first time today during a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuLci-lSeCo, with the two versions of the hardware shown side-by-side -- one with a disc drive, and one without.

Pricing details for the two systems have still not been provided, though it's likely the digital edition of the PS5 would be sold at a lower price point, similar to the Xbox One All-Digital Edition that Microsoft launched last year.
