Personalising the psp background

hi all!

Just got my psp. its on version 1.5.

I have downloaded PSPersonalize and PSP set and everytime i run throught the programs on the PSP when I finish either program the background hasn't changed. The pics are renamed to 01.bmp etc and r put straight on the memory stick.

Any ideas?
