Woot! Today my serial->USB adaptor arrived! I can now talk to my DC!
Well.. in theory, anyway. I've been doing this rather haphazardly, but as of now I'll be looking into getting myself set properly.. reading tutorials and all that. Any advice or recommended things are appreciated, of course, and I'll be back if I get totally lost. Again.
