Ok, i followed the instructions and successfully downgraded my psp from 2.0 to 1.5 and got all the very cool emulators to work. Problem is, when i go to start a umd, it tells me i need to upgrade back to 2.0 to play them????? Any way around this? After all the effort of downgrading and getting the emulators, i don't wanna lose them. Can anyone help?
its beacuse they need ver 2.00 to play.... so u have to give up browser and soem games for hombrew

Agree with Atariboy04, I've got a new PSP v2.0(Japan) and would like to downgrade to 1.5 following the recommendations, but not sure about how to go back to 2.0. What's the difference between 1.5 and 2.0?
Go and find, install and run WABversionChanger. Use this tool to make the PSP think it is running on v2.00. Once you've done this you can loads those UMD's without a problem.
