Help an oldie out

Hey guys it's me!

How are you all getting on?

I have a little problem and I know you guys can help :P

I have an old "phat" PSP that is on firmware 2.81 and I want to know the easiest way of getting it onto the latest custom firmware.

Note I say the Easiest way so I will even use installers etc etc

Sure, either upgrade to Firmware 3.03 and downgrade with an unpatched GTA LCS UMD, upgrade to 3.50 and use the Lumines exploit, or use Pandora. ;)

I don't have LCS or Lumines...

And for the pandora do I actualy need the battery?

Id recommend Pandora.
If you have any friends with an already modded PSP, they can make one for you, but if you don't, you can buy a TOOL battery from CodeJunkies for about $25.
It's good because it can downgrade almost any firmware and fix bricked PSPs.
