Problems Upgrading to 4.01 M33. Please help

I currently have 3.60m33 and I am having issues updating to the 4.01m33.

I downloaded the 4.01m33-2 and the 1.50 addon from this site.

Then i copied the UPDATE folder into my GAMES folder and ran the eboot.pbp. then my psp says update not available and asks me if i want to download it from my internet connection.

i say no and it gives me an error. I try it again but this time i say yes and it gives me a UFILE error.

what should I do?

Instructions: Copy UPDATE folder /PSP/GAME/ and run.
Put the 4.01 sony update as 401.PBP in same folder, or let the program download it for you using a wifi connection.

what does that mean? put the 4.01 sony update as 401.pbp?
