Zelurker the author of Raine :) has released a patched version of Yoyofrs NeoGeoCD emulator for the PSP, heres whats new:
This version fixes the music for Magician lord, Puzzled, and Ghost fighters at least, and probably some others. It also adds the possibility to change the volume of the music from the gui (mp3 volume).

still no music in ghost fighters, i got the mp3's id better check there in the right place..
version 0.5.2 fixed the sound effects not working in aero fighters 2 and 3 at least, and made some code cleanups to remove all these annoying warnings.
I tested this out on a small variaty of Neo-CD games that have had problems with music or sound effects.
Here is a list of the titles I have found that work properly now.
1. Magician Lord (duh)
2. Areo Fighters 2
3. Mutation Nation (plays music now)
4. Ninja Combat (plays music now)
5. Nam-1975 (plays music now)
NOTE: does not solve [no music] problem with Metal Slug-2
These are all the games I have tested so far that I have had problems with. When I get time I will test the rest of the problomatic games.
