DS/GBA other possible emulation

Hey, I know im kinda jumping the gun here, but are there any talks of porting say snes9x or mame or anything like that to the DS? I know only the most basic about the technical side of emulation, but it seems more than powerful enough to handle anything up to 16bit. what about neo geo? if somebody could pull that off I'd buy em breakfast and a prostitute. Also, it atleast makes sense to me that if you had one of those GBA flash cards that lets you store your own roms on it, the DS would play it, right? Anybody able to shed some light on the subject?
