Google's Sat maps IP ban policy

Hey guys, i've just recently started using mapthis! on my psp and i gotta say, its quite awesome ;)

One thing tho, i've been having trouble downloading sat maps from google maps cos of the whole IP ban thing. Can someone help clarify to me how this works?

- If GMDL pops up the error saying its been banned and to try again in a few (4?) hours, will it continue where it left off if i come back to it in 4 hours?

- If i download several smaller maps one after another, will i still eventually get blocked?

- How does the wifi feature work? does it download from google maps? would it eventually get blocked too?
