Also, this might be a crazy question, but i am new to the gpSP Emulator for PSP. I just wanted to know how do I know what cheat code to I need to use to create the .cht file.
What I mean is, how do I know if I need to use the PAR_V2 or PAR_v3 and gameshark_v2 or gameshark_v3?
I am runing the UO gpsp KAI 3.3 Test 1 Vesion and I got few of my cheat codes from this site (Link)

Well, you should already know if it's for PAR(Pro Action Replay) or Gameshark, when you get the codes, it should tell you what they're for.
As for the "V3". I find it best to just use v3 for all of them, and if they don't work, go back and change to v2 or v1. V3 seems to work most of the time though.
If it's a gameshark code.. You use "gameshark_v#".. if it's an action replay code, you use "PAR_v#"

Thx for the Reply. I guess you are the only one who had a answer to my question. I was trying out the Pokemon FireRed on my PSP and I couldn't get any of the gpsp codes to work out. So I finally have up. If you can help me this problem, please let me know.
