Help CWCheat not working on 4.01m33-2

I need help getting cwcheat to work on my psp, i currently have 4.01m33-2 and i copied the seplugin folder from the install folder (not the install 3.xx) into the root of the memory stick when i enabled the 3 plugins in recovery i then went ingame and held select, when holding select ingame i get nothing but a glitchy menu i was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this problem
