anyone here have a mouse to test this? It should work, but I'm not sure. I might re-write it to use controller, but want to gauge reaction first.

I haven't had any luck yet with mouse enabled port. Especially since I don't have one to test with :( lol
Best I could gather is that you have to set the bit depth of the screen to 32 bit, havent tested that yet though. I think I saw it over on reaper forum somewhere.
