I've just bought More Brain Training and I can't do the brain age check as it doesn't recognise when I say 'scissors' in the paper, rock, scissors mini game..... any advise? I've tried saying it about 5 different ways (including 'cutting things' when i got a bit frustrated!!!) but nothing...
Do I have to say it a specific way??

try playing around where your holding it away from you. That seems to have effects on it too....
Enunciate. Make sure your S's stand out.
If you're already doing that, make sure the mic isn't too far away or too close to you, and that you're in a quiet spot. You'll have to experiment there.
Be sure you're saying the right thing, too. Sometimes when it says "please lose" for paper, I say "scissors" about 3 times before I realize that I needed to say "rock."
