Need help burning a funky iso

Hi there, i just got done modding my wii with the back up launcher and all the emulators which was a fun process. The problem is that i have a game that has about forty .rar files and about forty .r3 files i've tried to make them into an .iso using image burn but with no luck. Do i need to extract all the .rar's or what. I have had success with other games but they were .iso so it was not a problem, though i did get a wii error #002 on one and another one played but faded in and out. But if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated
