Turbo button mod

Are there any mods/homebrew out there that will make the normal triangle, circle, x and square buttons act in a "turbo" mode when pressed?

What I mean by turbo, is that the button is repeatedly pressed when you hold the button down, instead of having to press it continuously yourself.
