PSP-1003, brand new in box

Hey guys. I've been wanting to get into the homebrew scene for years now, and was pretty gutted when told the PSP-3000 is unhackable.

I found a PSP-1003 on eBay, it's brand new and still in its box. There is no more information on it, except the serial number.

I've heard people say that it isn't unhackable, it is easy to hack, and that I will need a pandaora's battery to hack it.

To be honest, I don't have a clue. Is this PSP hackable, and is it simple to achieve?

all 1000s are hackable. You'll need a pandora's battery or an exploit. pandora is better though.
