NEW here ... Need advice on what to get.

Hello everyone,

I have been hacking for a long time and now have started looking at the DS.

I have 2 psp's that i have hacked and build games for using the linux tool kit.

I'm new to the DS and want to flash the chip on the Mobo.

As getting into any device after the hacks have started is a little had to do... what do i need to know?

I know that hacks have been made and devices are on the web to bypass the checksums & software sigs.

1. Flash carts
2. passme
3. R4 & M3 devices
4. auto patching tools

Here is where things get a little fuzzy? :confused:

what is the best card, what are the best rom backup tools. what sites are good to buy from.

As a hacker i would like to build the tools my self, what tuts are there for me to learn to flash the Firmware or build my own cart device...... (guessing)...that all of the devices are inline hex coding or are an offset device... (where the card has a hidden sector that hold a Key file).

Please don't flame... i want to learn and code for this device to bring some cool software to the scene. :thumbup:
